I have been impressed with MAZE from the first visit to there showroom where we meet Billy who was friendly & knowledgeable of the pergola that we ended up purchasing. The product is manufactured to a very high standard & was possible to self build without problems.
A couple of very minor issues were dealt with swiftly by part of customer service team Tracy & Billy who are simply fantastic. I would also included Danial who arrived at the house to replace damaged part, communicating his exact arrival time & carrying out the repair effectively. All the people I've dealt with at MAZE have been friendly , helpful & professional & would high recommend the company to any future customers . Thank you 😎
After many attempts of my order being promised to be delivered over a period of 3 months, dates given and no shows. Customer service is appalling emailed and called no follow up to get back to you and when called to be told you haven’t paid and haven’t ordered anything, which I said you need to recheck that as the money has been debited out of my account. The staff need more training and didn’t have a clue how to sort it out. I brought here because it was local to keep business in the town. I was told I could go and pick up the sun beds which is a 5 hour drive to Newcastle. I will not be ordering here again.
The gentleman checked through all the issues rectified what he could and talked through the next steps.
Fitting of blind ok but they only had one of the three blinds we were waiting for. The order was placed in May for end of June delivery. Pergola erected in July but no blinds with delivery. We are now into September and still two blinds awaited
Very little communication from this company.
1st delivery day, nothing turned up and customer services had no clue where it was. Drivers can’t communicate with customer services or customers apparently.
8 days later, 2nd delivery day, part of order missing.
Now waiting to see if I get the rest of what I paid for.
Understand issues arise but just need to communicate the information.

Great delivery team turn up in a good size van which could get up the driveway unloaded all the 10 boxes extremely friendly and helpful.
This was the second attempt at delivery. As the first delivery did not provide anyone to assemble the items. The second delivery I was provided with a time slot of 12-1pm but there was no further communication or help on where the delivery was. Delivery finally arrived at 3pm. Neither of the 2 men had ever assembled Maze living furniture before. And one of the men had zero interest in assembling. I ended up helping the other man (who was lovely) build the furniture myself. After 2.5hrs of building we had only assembled a quarter of the furniture due for assembly. This was now 5.30pm on a Friday night. I am hoping that Maze Living will be sending a team (who are familiar with Maze Living) next week to finish assembling my clients furniture. But I’m still holding my breath. The lack of communication on delivery times, and sending out people to build furniture they are not familiar with is so unprofessional. And makes me as a trades person look inefficient infront of my client. This will now be 3 separate trips to the same property. Which surely is not time or financially efficient to maze Living. The products which I did assemble looked good quality for their price. But the overall service needs to seriously improve before I would consider ever using Maze Living again.

What excellent service. From ordering by telephone with Billy to the installation today. We were kept informed at all times. The two gentlemen who carried out the installation, where extremely polite and have done an excellent job. Will not hesitate to recommend Maze Outdoor
We purchased the Maze Bali Rope Weave 6 Seat Oval Dining Set with Interchangeable Cushion Covers in April 2023. This was not a cheap dining set but after only 1 year, the surface of the table already looks terrible. It appears that they used a laminate / thin strip of wood on the top surface and this has split and pulled away from the wood beneath.
They have refused to honour the 2 year warranty claiming that care instructions were not followed even though we did exactly what was recommended - regularly wiping the table and oiling with the recommended product in the autumn.
My friend ordered a similar table from Harbour Living and this looks like new after 2 years so beware of the inferior quality you will get with Maze
From order to delivery within 4 days. The guys who came to assemble the furniture were absolutely spot on; punctual, polite and quick and the furniture is superb
The online experience of reviewing the product, buying and paying, plus arranging delivery was great. However, while the online bit is important it’s not as important as the people interactions, which were superb. Dave and Jack arrived on time, were polite and friendly, offering good advice and having good product knowledge. Jack didn’t finish his orange squash, but we’ll forgive him that.
After cancelling my original order due to non availability, I was given the option of changing the order which I did. Customer services were very efficient and my furniture was delivered on time today. I’m so pleased with the quality and appearance of my garden set. It should last for many years. I can’t fault anything and have only praise for those I spoke to. I would definitely recommend Maze and would order from them again.
The delivery men were 10/10 and a credit to your company. However sending them in a van without a tail lift and the smallest trolley ever is unacceptable when they are delivering heavy outdoor kitchens. The heavier unit would have been impossible for two men to lift out of the van without damaging the unit by dropping it on the floor. Luckily my husband was able to help and assisted in lifting out of the van and then carrying into the garden as it wouldn’t fit on the trolley provided. Really sad that for the price your product costs you don’t invest in your delivery teams health and safety by providing them the correct tools to carry out their job. Don’t know what would have happened if husband wasn’t able to of helped and it was still a struggle to him and his back. The bbq looks good quality materials although not yet used, just sad that you don’t value your delivery teams health and safety.
Delivery was on time and the interim updates for delivery were very useful. Packaging looks solid but not unpacked yet so can't check for any damage. Hopefully it will be ok
I’ve got the zest set and a year on I’m so impressed at how well the chairs do cope being outside, yet comfortable and material. I’ve just bought a further two chairs and the service has been fantastic. Speedy response, excellent communications, regular updates and friendly and delivery. On unpacking it’s clear to see they’re well packaged. I’m surprised with the other reviews as I found this to be one of the best companies to deal with recently. Thank you so much!
Ordered a dining set 2 months ago and was told it would only take a few weeks to deliver - 2 months later and we still haven’t received it! We’ve chased numerous times and been given false promises about a delivery date. To top it off, the website still says it’s in stock and will be delivered in 7-10 days.
Order to delivery was easy, quick and efficient. I was sent a reminder by text with the delivery details a week before then another on the day with a 30 minute window. Delivery men worked extremely well together and had the pergola up in no time at all. Looks amazing I'm so happy with my purchase.
