Great friendly service and great customer service would recommend to anyone

Went in this morning to get 2 tyres fitted, walked into reception and rang the bell, reception worker told me he would be one minute, came back about 15 minutes later and was very unpolite. Told me it would be about 45 minutes so came back about 45 minutes later, then noticed my front alloy was completly scuffed which it was spotless when going in. Took no responsibilitly for this and tried to blame it on the fact my alloys were black/my driving. Told me to come back tomorrow to speak to a manager, i then drive away and my tyre pressure light comes on so will now have to go and fix this. Will not be returning again.

Excellent service from the team, William in particular. Fixed a small problem for us free of charge, used them for years and they are always good value for money.

Booked a slot for 10.00 only to be told on arrival that one of the tyres had not been delivered to the workshop and they didn't know what time it would arrive. I had to return home and await a phone call which duly came a couple of hours later. Tyres fitted at 4 o'clock. I asked why I was not contacted and was told they were hoping the tyre would arrive before me. Luckily I only live a couple of minutes away. I would have been pretty angry if I had driven for miles to be turned away.

Booked in for 2 tyres and tracking ,discovered a broken track rod end and broken spring thanks to a pothole,sorted with minimum of fuss. Would highly recommend

I am very happy with the work done on various jobs over the past couple of years. I have always had a friendly service.

Booked in for 10.00am for four new tyres. Job finished by 10.30, chaps extremely pleasant, can't get better than that.

Called in to the castleford branch for a tyre as I had a puncture that couldnt be repaired it wasn't my usual/local garage to go to but I was in need and this was the closest too me at the time the guys here promptly looked to see if the tyre was in stock I got the price and in no time I had a new tyre at a very good price then had all my tyres and pressures checked absolutely brilliant service gordons at castleford will now be my preferred garage to go too cheers to the lads at the garage great job great staff

Aaron road department is the only tyre place I would recommend to any one. I have been a customer for a good few years now. If you phone the day before you will get a better price Ally the manager will shop about for you the guys that work there are always friendly and have a smile hail rain or snow been in twice this week keep the good work up guys

1st class service as always. Just read the previous review who complained about the service however couldn't be further from the truth. The most helpful team of guys & can't do enough for you - clearly the customer with "the issue" was having a bad day! Can't recommend this team enough - keep up the good work fellas!

I had made an online booking through Gordon's Tyres own website and paid £310 for 2 new front tyres to be fitted last Monday at 10am. I had received a confirmation email so I assumed all was good.

I turned up at 09:50 on the Monday morning for the store to have no idea of the booking, and the tyres had not even been delivered. So I left having received no apology from anybody in store nor a time frame for when they'd expect to receive my tyres, all they said was they'll call when the tyres arrive.

6 hours later I get a call that the tyres have just arrived and they'd fit them when I turn up. Still received no apology and customer service was poor.

The first time anybody had apologised to me was after contacting customer services, and all they can offer me for the terrible service and time wasted is a free MOT when it is due. The excuse for the tyres not turning up was the 2nd Jan holiday in Scotland so the order was not processed. Unfortunately I wouldn't trust this company and don't wish for them to go near my car again.

When you book for a tyre appointment you'd expect the tyres to be there, or at least somebody to call you to apologise explain they haven't arrived and offer a rebooking. Instead I ended up taking time off work, losing money as a result and wasting a journey to the shop.

I will not be going back.

5 minutes before they were closing I came in with a bald tyre which I needed to be changed as I had 5 hours journey ahead of me. They were so helpful and friendly.

Second time I’ve used them and they’re brilliant. Extremely accommodating, very helpful and knowledgeable. They are now my “go to” garage!

I have always had excellent service from McConechy's but not so good this time. The tyres were not available on the date booked, but I was notified of this and told that I would be phoned when they were. I was not and chased it up myself. I could not find any way of re-booking and went in, in person to be told that if I left the car it would be done next. I dropped off my wife and went back 5 minutes later to be told things had changed . I left the car with a request that the rear tyres be checked while they were doing the front ones. When I looked at the documentation it was blank. The staff, as always were excellent. They system was a little lacking.

Communication was good, they where ruining behind time, but that wasnt an issue for me. I was happy with the job initially, however when home and saw one of the wheels had been chipped and a dust caps was missing. It makes me feel that the wheel was left dirty to hide the chipped wheel. I would say check wheels before leaving but other that that friendly enough.

Excellent service at the Berwick upon Tweed branch! Really helpful and friendly! Did a great job and will definitely go back for other work. Have already recommended to family and friends!
