As a busy working family, we are regular users of Meditests. Excellent, hassle free service for those in between visit tests or ongoing monitoring. Saves money through less costly doctors visits and time off work, where appropriate. Highly recommend.

I had a very positive experience using Meditest and would highly recommend their service.

I used their website to book a blood test because my health insurance did not cover GP consultations, and I simply wanted to confirm whether I was pregnant. After searching online for how to get a blood test in Australia without seeing a GP, I came across Meditest.

The entire process was surprisingly convenient and efficient. I booked and paid for the test online, and the referral form was emailed to me immediately. I printed the form and visited one of their collection centres the next morning (Abbott Pathology), where the blood sample was taken quickly and professionally. The results were then delivered to my email the very next day.

What impressed me most was the level of care they showed after the test. One of my results showed an elevated TSH level, and because I was pregnant, a doctor from their Sydney office personally called me to discuss the result. The doctor explained that thyroid function can be important during pregnancy and advised me to see a GP as soon as possible. This was something I had not expected and truly appreciated. It made me feel that they genuinely cared about their patients’ wellbeing rather than simply providing test results.

I'm an American, and I was visiting friends in Castlemaine last January. I've been in remission from Graves Disease for a few years, and suddenly had symptoms I associate with Graves.

It was easy to choose and purchase the test I needed (at a reasonable price) and to set up the appointment online, for the next day, at a clinic in Castlemaine.

The receptionist couldn't have been nicer, the wait was almost non-existent, and the lab tech was more than competent, friendly and engaging, and put me entirely at ease. The results were delivered to me electronically within a day or two, and the experience start to finish was altogether pleasant. Could not have been better.

These guys are brilliant. Ordered the test, got the referral letter within 20min. Got the test done on a Saturday, and had the results by Sunday evening! Seriously efficient and very quick.

The ease of the whole experience, and quick turnaround with results.

It was very simple and easy. I got my results back within a few hours, a lot quicker than I was expecting. I did need my DOB added to the form and I emailed the company and didn't get a response. The nurse wrote my DOB on the form. The were a lot of locations I could go to get my blood test done. Highly recommend.
