Their 'technical' trousers don't come with a front zip so you have to pull the tight elastic waist band completely down past your arse to have a piss, like a slow kid at the school urinal. Totally useless.

Bought the Mellow clo jacket which is advertised as ‘outdoors’ and suitable for protecting you when you are ‘climbing’ and when the ‘temperature drops’ and to be honest I highly doubt it. I’ll likely wear it as a running jacket or general over jacket when raining for casual walks etc but wouldn’t recommend this for ‘climbing’ in situations where the ‘temperature drop’ and is very misleading I feel.

Ive now bought three items from here and I love all of them. Good company, UK based, fast shipping.

Great company and top notch products. Genuinely worth the money from a quality perspective! Always on it with communication and quick to post things out.

The quality and style of the items are very good.

There are some issues around the return process - it’s a bit slow and there isn’t an option for direct exchanges, only refunds, so a size might go out of stock before you can order a new one.

Having said that, when I got through to their customer support team after making a return, they were very helpful and understanding, so I’m leaving 5 stars and I recommend the brand as that’s the most important thing.

Avoid—fell apart instantly. Terrible quality. The elastic bands on these trousers started falling apart after just a few wears and washes. Definitely not built to last.

Disappointed
I purchased 2 items (over £180 for jacket & trousers) for my son’s Xmas & birthday pressie.
When it came to his birthday (late Jan), found out he already had the jacket.
Contacted Mellows customer service (accepting I was now outside of their formal returns period), but asked for just for an exchange or credit note ….. once I’d returned the unopened item at my expense.
Received a flat refusal (twice) from Mellow which I feel is harsh & lacks any common sense.
Now they’ve lost 2 customers who would have been repeat purchasers.
Very short sighted for a small business but I definitely won’t use them again.

I unfortunately did not have the best experience with this company. I ordered pants from them at the beginning of August and then when months had gone by and I hadn’t received my order or gotten an update about my order, I reached out wondering where my pants were. It was beginning of October at this point and they had said that the pants were returned back to them which is strange considering I never received them or received an update about my order. I then asked for a refund since I never received the pants which they did issue(only after reaching out and asking for a refund though and not when they had actually received the pants back) but they wouldn’t refund me the $25 shipping fee. Shipping for something I never received and for a delivery service that was never held up on their end. I didn't receive any part of the service that the fee was intended to cover. The actual money (the $25) is whatever at this point, it’s more the principle of it all for me and they handled it so poorly saying that I was responsible for paying for the service when I was never informed of any update about my order. I like the style of their stuff and would like to buy it, but unfortunately will not be after this experience.

Order arrived within 4 days and while I'm yet to test it in heavy rain, the quality of the 3L jacket is top tier.

The hat runs a little small but is also a lovely item.

I have to say I genuinely love the trousers I have purchased from Mellow Clo. The fit and finish is spot on. I reached out to customer service regarding sizing and was answered really quickly with good advice on the cut and fit which allowed me to order the correct size without needing to return anything.
I have really enjoying watching the brand grow & become more successful. It’s a testament to good quality clothing and a dedicated customer focus.
