In July 2024 we had a tradesman come in and do some tiling work above the bath. Unfortunately, they did not put any protection down and a tile then fell and took multiple chips (more like chunks) out of the bath.

We contacted Stephen from Mendabath, and he explained their process, what we could expect and provided a quote based on the pictures we provided. Stephen arrived to do the work as agreed, and the quality was absolutely fantastic. None of the areas Stephen repaired are visible, save for the two chunks taken out right on the corner of the bath, which are only slightly visible from one particular angle. Stephen warned us beforehand that this would be the case, and it truely is only noticeable if you are viewing from one particular angle.

I waited 6 months to write this review (Jan 2025) as I wanted to make sure that the work lasted, and I am pleased to say that it did and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Stephen to others, or to rebook him in the future if we need to. Absolutely 10/10.

Technician rang to give his eta and arrived exactly at that time. He was very accommodating considering the mess our house was in! A professional attitude and worked where the bath was placed, warming the area before he started working on the chip. The finished result was amazing. You could not see where the chip had been at all. We would definitely use them again if need be!

I had Stephen Baison re enabled my bath and mend a crack in my sink ! He arrived on time, very polite , friendly and ultra tidy. The quality of his work was excellent and have been left with what looks like a new bath and sink!!

Not a bad word to say at all. From the initial conversation with Lynne and explaining what happened, to Andy arriving and the work commencing (Lynnes words, she likes sending Andy the harder repairs), I cannot fault the service at all. My bath not longer has a hole in it and the colour match is near as makes no difference bang on. Would recommend and use again.

Cecil did a great job repairing a problem caused by a design flaw in our fibre glass tub (in fact repairing a previous poor attempt at repairing from a different company). He offered constructive advice, turned up when promised to propose a solution, then returned again at an agreed date to complete the repair. He was courteous, reliable, and professional throughout and I would have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

Reported a problem with a previous repair, Stephen promptly contacted us and organised a convenient time to come and conduct a respray and repair of the enamel bath. An excellent repair was carried out and I would thoroughly recommend Mendabath

Lynne was great on emails helping colour match our blue basin and arrange for the work to be conducted. Brendon called to let me know what time he would arrive. He was incredibly polite and hardworking. My family were very impressed with the repair and respray he did on our 60s blue sink. It looks like new. The job took just over 6 hours which justified the price. Very happy and would recommend

Excellent repair job done

I have had my bath and sink done at separate occasions both by Stephen who was overall brilliant. Really kind and polite man, tidy and clean very well after himself and more importantly he managed to do a fantastic job for both the sink and bath and really felt like brand new units. Couldn’t recommend more.

Lynne was easy to talk to, very informative and accommodating when booking an appointment.
Andy came today to re enamel my bath and was again easy to get on with and very informative. He has done a brilliant job and my bath mow shines like it did when it was first bought.

Mendabath were easy to communicate with and booked in quite quickly. The experience got even better on-site - Cecil arrived on time, was incredibly warm and polite, very careful about moving his equipment into our recently painted home. He explained all the processes clearly, did the job in about 2 hours, and was kind and friendly with our kids too which we always appreciate!

He tried to do the minimum to the bath in order to not ‘overdo’ the repair/restoration which we we appreciated a lot (rather than recommending an extensive more costly job, that would probably have turned out to be less effective in the long-term)

It’s such a pleasure working with small businesses that have great expertise, good values, and great customer service.

I recently had my bath resurfaced by Stephen Baison from Mendabath. There was a slight glitch with the process, however, this was rectified with a second visit shortly after the first. On both occasions Stephen was friendly, professional and efficient. I was left with a shiny new bath surface and everything else neat and tidy - Stephen even washed up his mug!
