I can't recommend Milly enough! She made me feel so supported and cared for. Her knowledge about breastfeeding and newborn care is amazing. She has a background in midwifery too. Compassion and patience comes naturally to her. Thanks to her guidance, I successfully breast fed my premature baby.

I was recommended Milly via a friend (the best kind of recommendation!) and she helped me through a difficult time I was having feeling confident in breastfeeding my baby. She made a home visit where she gave some easy to understand advice and support which helped me to navigate a challenging time where I was doubting myself so much! She showed me some new positions and looked at our latch and it made all the difference being in the comfort of my home during those newborn months. Her advice allowed me to feel more confident in breastfeed and helped me to wean off top ups and using nipple shields. We had some further follow up conversations when my baby was having a breastfeeding aversion months later which was also stressful and her advice and support really put me at ease and allowed us to try some new approaches. I would highly recommended Milky Starts and have passed her details onto many friends who need advice with breastfeeding, she was a real light in a stormy time.

Milly is a brilliant lactation consultant in North London. She helped me when I was struggling with a a feeding aversion and oversupply and gave me practical tips and reassurance. I am still breastfeeding months on! I highly reccomend her to new parents

Milly came to see us at a challenging time during our breastfeeding journey. Sophia was 5 weeks old and had issues latching. We had seen several people before, including the council breastfeeding team on several occasions. Milly gave us suggestions on feeding positions and had a very gentle approach, both with me and my daughter. She also identified areas which needed special attention and was able to provide us with the required referals. Milly has also been available over whatsapp for continued support which has always been extremely valuable and helpful, no question being too big or too small. She has given us great resources and given us a lot of confidence on our breastfeeding journey. We would probably stopped breastfeeding if it hadn't been for her help and I can't recommend her enough. Thank you Milly !

Milly was so incredible at helping our feeding journey. She gave such brilliant, instructive, calming advice in my final trimester of pregnancy and then gave invaluable guidance during the first few weeks after the birth of our daughter. It was so useful to have her on hand as soon as I had any difficulties especially in those precious first few weeks of starting our breastfeeding journey. Milly helped me with my breastfeeding journey with my first born and her advice and support was invaluable. I had an oversupply and my baby had a Cows Milk Protein Allergy and Milly helped us through it all and I managed to breastfeed successfully for over a year.
