Milton Bath Enamel Repair responded promptly to all my enquires, thoroughly explained the process and had one of their repairers come out to me within days. He too worked very professionally, explaining what he was doing and why. I was especially pleased
with his careful preparation; the results too were amazing. It took a while - several hours - with no corners cut. I had both my bath and washbasin done at the same time. Now when I go into the bathroom I smile - it looks 100% better than it did before. 5 year warranty too is reassuring to have. Joanna

Oh my goodness me they’re amazing. Customer service - tip top, polite and thorough. They arrived promptly, set up and got straight on with it. The end result was/is amazing. It’s like I have a new bath. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Extremely disappointing. They missed the initial booking without any notice, and I had to chase them down to find out if the plumber was even going to show up. After rescheduling, there was still no clear communication, and I was left in the dark without confirmation of the new appointment.

Based on this initial experience, I would not recommend their services. Poor communication and lack of professionalism throughout.

Should have known it was too good to be true when they replied to my email so quickly referring to a "crack" when I'd advised my bath had a chip/hole (not a crack) that had been sealed by a previous owner.

Tried to get me to change my appointment to a sunday at short notice and I had a feeling when I said that didn't suit me that they wouldn't show up on the Wednesday we'd originally agreed but they confirmed the original time and date was ok. Low and behold they didn't show up on the agreed day and when I called them I was told the technician had broken down (but didn't think to let me know?) Don't trust this company at all so will go elsewhere instead.

Well I am not that happy tbh. I was made aware by a trades person who is sealing my bathroom floor that the bath gas dust bumps under the new enamel, little holes where you can see black dots, very tiny tbf. The mastic yet again, already been back once to redo is starting to lift. There is a big blob of enamel on tge bath. Again I didn't see until this guy shone a UV light on the bath.

I contacted Milton’s Bath Enamel Repair and got a very quick response with price and date to carry out the job. The price was expensive but was convinced that this would be a fantastic job.
On the day, the engineer called at 8am who was 1.5 to 2 hours away to say he would be around 10am as he had run out of paint (not a very good start).
On arrival he walked straight up and into my bathroom and said ‘you have a shower screen and I don’t take shower screens off’.
All the pictures I was asked for were for the shower screen so they knew exactly what was to be carried out. The engineer showed me pictures of what he was emailed to carry out the job and this was someone else’s bathroom😩
The engineer then left and I couldn’t get hold of the owner.
I messaged via WhatsApp and did get an apology from someone however no conclusion and no idea who the message came from as not signed off by anyone.
Their website indicates that you are dealing with a local company but guess you are dealing with someone hundreds of miles away working from their back bedroom.
Avoid with all cost as like me you will be let down.
Update: I had a call from allegedly the MD who offered me £100 off as way of compensation, I wasn’t to enamoured with this and she was going to speak to the owners (obviously she cannot make decisions on her own being the MD). I didn’t hear a thing and I WhatsApp messaged again and I did miss a couple of phone calls a few days later but called back straight away and no response. No voicemail left for me so no idea who was calling or what the offer was going to be.
Absolutely shambolic😩
Avoid like the plague!!
Update 02/07/2024: Still no contact from this company.
If you are thinking about using this company I would steer well clear if this is their customer service.

Really pleased with work carried out by Mike. My old bath now looks brand new. Mike was extremely punctual, professional and friendly. No mess whatsoever. Returned the following week to finish off a tiny chip and even put some silicone around the bath. Fantastic. Would definitely recommend.

My arm was twisted that the cause of non attendance of the technician was due to poor communication. Compensation was offered if I upgraded my 1 star grade. I note that last week another 1 star rating was removed and wonder if the complainant was asked to change their rating in a similar manner. After much haggling I have upgraded Miltons to 4 star due to the quality of work and the enthusiasm of the repairer. This is due to the "Trustpilot effect."

They mythered the hell out of me, wouldnt stop ringing me, asking me to book in. In the end i went eith someone else because of this.

We had a full repair of our cast iron freestanding bath done totalling £570. The repair when done was mostly okay with some little issues around the plug but they were very minor. However, our tiles underneath the bath (which are visible) were covered in white enamel ‘spray’ which is impossible to remove. We have been in contact with the company and sent emails, as we were advised to contact them if further chips etc. needed repair. However, we have received no reply to emails sent. Would not recommend.

Had my bath was resurfaced. Excellent job done.

Really clear communication throughout. Seamus did an amazing job of basically restoring our cast iron bath. He worked pretty much non-stop all day!
Really lovely guy to boot, clearly really into his work and determined to do a great job!

Perfect service and communication and work is good. Come on time fixed the issue and worth using if you chip your bath / shower. 5 stars from me

Fantastic service from Miltons bath repair Service . Had an email to let me know the job could be done the following morning we agreed and having been let down by workmen in the past it was really great to find a company that care and do exactly what I wanted . Dave came to do the job at 9am brought all his tools in worked very quickly and quietly and got the job done . He left no mess didn’t damage anything and did a fantastic job of the sink . So happy with the work my sink looks new and the bathroom looks amazing . Having been messed about by workmen for the past 8 weeks it’s really wonderful that I can now get my bathroom back . We were given good information about how long to leave the sink before we could use it and how to clean and care for it in the future thanks again for wonderful service

My wife and I are very pleased with the results to repaired the surface on our bath was 20 years old look like we have replace new bath!. I would say you will have save a lot of money to replace new bath and replace damaged tiles and plumber's job etc which don't need! the technician called Jake was very friendly and done job very well and cleaned all up and tidy up before he left. We both say a big thank you very much.

We had a long standing large crack in the sink in our bathroom, and I was unable to use the sink to wash or shave for a long time. Miltons were very helpful from the outset and we booked a repair. Tommy did an excellent job and the price was reasonable - well worth it to have our sink back in use. I thoroughly recommend. Thank you. Mike - Shrewsbury

I had a bath re-enamelled and am absolutely delighted. It looks better than it did when it was new! The repairer was brilliant - very polite and friendly. I couldn’t be happier!

cracked the shower just before I was letting the house. Miltons came and did a careful excellent job. Could not fault them. Letting went ahead with the shower looking like new. Fair price for a really good job, Worker was very polite.

We had our bath re-enamelled in the summer with Milton. I have to say they are 5*. The communication prior to the repair was excellent. The person carrying out the work was excellent. They were very respectful and left the bathroom immaculate after the repair. We are absolutely delighted with the work - it’s like a brand new bath! Our grandson in particular is thrilled as found the bath ‘scratchy’ before the repair! The bath is very shiny and clean. It had been difficult to clean marks off the old bath. We are absolutely thrilled and can highly recommend the service. It was so much easier than installing a new bath too! Thank you to Milton.
