I had the worst experience with MindfulEve. They offered a small course for an affordable price, which I was genuinely interested in. However, alongside that, they also included a yearly subscription for $129.99, which I didn’t clearly notice at the time of purchase. While they claim to have a 100% refund policy, when I reached out, Louise told me it doesn’t apply to my case—despite their own clearly stated policy.
Now, I’m stuck with a charge for something I won’t use and dealing with terrible customer service that refuses to honor their own terms. Avoid this company at all costs!

My mom was scammed by this company with an ad that was promoting a "course" for just 0.99 - a steal, no? But along with this steal of a course there came a masked yearly subscription to be charged in 7 days, for which - surprise, there was no way to get a refund if you didn't like the course. Although their website states in the FAQs
"If I don't like the course, can I get my money back?
Yes, you can. You do not run any risks. If the course doesn't meet your expectations within the first 14 days of purchase, we'll give you a full refund on your card, no questions asked. Just email our support at ..."
she wasn't offered a refund although only 7 days have passed since buying the alleged course.
The subscription info text is really small and almost unnoticeable, deliberately inconspicuous so that if someone is a less technical person and less suspicious of this frauds, they will easily fall victim, like my mother. You also don't get any "your free trial is about to expire" email or anything to warn you of the upcoming payment the day before.
The worst is the inability to get a refund for this kind of "offer" subscriptions although the FAQs say you can get a refund in 14 days for the normal subscription.
The way they behaved makes me sick, intentionally misleading customers in order to acquire subscriptions from people who have been SCAMMED. Do not place your trust in this company, they have violated any form of ethical behaviour.

Mindfuleve operates with deceitful commecrial practices. I bought a supposedly "one dollar offer" for a speaking course and one week later they charged 125.00 USD on my credit card for the whole subscription cost that I did not request. My mistake: I didn´t read the small letters. I haven´t used any of their services and they have refused to refund my money.

I came across a Facebook ad from mindfuleve.com promoting what seemed to be an online course for just $0.99. Thinking it was an introductory offer for a digital course, I decided to give it a try. However, seven days later, without any prior notice or warning, they charged my card $129.99 for an annual subscription—something I never knowingly agreed to.
The entire process felt deliberately misleading. Nowhere was it made clear that this was merely a trial period that would automatically convert into an expensive yearly subscription. Instead, it was framed as a simple, low-cost purchase of a course. This kind of deceptive marketing is completely unethical.
When I reached out to their customer service to request a refund, explaining how unfair and misleading their practices were, I didn’t even receive a response. Ignoring customers after charging them unauthorized fees only reinforces how shady this company is.
This is not just bad business—it’s outright theft. The lack of transparency, the sneaky subscription trap, and the refusal to engage with customers make it clear: this is a scam. Avoid at all costs!

There are a variety of classes in many different categories, and they'll probably add more and expand. They had a promotion, so I decided to try it at a really good price.
My reason for not giving it 5 stars was that the video for the class I chose seemed to be recorded amateurishly. I understand that some of them may not have the resources to film it professionally, but it did affect the feel/vibe for me. A minor thing that can easily be overlooked for the value of the content.
When contacting customer service, Louise was very helpful and patient with me. Louise also tried to help resolve my issue by offering other suggestions. I was grateful for Louise's consideration and kindness.

Added an expensive subscription I did not want, refused to cancel it after I saw it on my credit card statement. Basically I signed up for an inexpensive course (for backs), in the email they sent with the log in, the mentioned a one or two week free trial was being thrown in. I did not ask for that nor pay much attention because I was dealing with an evacuated parent from the LA fires. A couple of weeks later I saw a charge for $129.99 and then went back to the email and saw that they mentioned that. Before starting the dispute with my credit card company, I decided email customer service explaining that it was a mistake and asking for a refund. No surprisingly they wrote back saying it was against the policy stated in a couple of places. In what world is it ethical to sign someone up for something they didn't purchase (there was no choice to not be enrolled in the subscription) and then expect them to take the time to read every line and take action to avoid a big charge? This is a disgusting business model and I sincerely hope they go out of business.
