My buckle failed within what I would describe as a reasonsable timeframe. 3/4 years. I found that the customer service team were reluctant to deal with the issue, requiring that I had to chase them up every few days. J**** the team leader was particularly unhelpfull and appear to have withdawn the previous settlement offer when I raised the issue of Australian consumer protection.
Some of the products are good, but the after sales support is quite poor, and a bit of an embarrasment.

Update and response:
If the issue was the result of a "structural break" as you say, that would suggest a quality issue.

I also just found out, that Minimum is so embarrassed by this issue, that I have blocked me from their Facebook page, to stop my reviews.

The complaint was also about the customer service, as documented below, because it would appear that if I didnt follow up on this, nor would you have.
=> Email sent on 2nd Feb, followed up on 3rd for a reply on 4th.
=> Email sent on 5th Feb, followed up on the 7th for a reply on the 9th.
=> Email sent on the 11th Feb, followed upon the 15th and again on the 18th for a reply on the 19th.

Regarding the quality of the item. I 'had' three functional buckles, all have been used by the same person, the same weight, the same way, and 1 of those three have failed. So considering I have previously have belt buckles last 10 years, and I have some of your buckles lasting longer than 4 years, I feel it is reasonsable to expect that a belt buckle can last longer than 4 years.

I ordered two belts for one of my son's for Christmas; black strap and brown strap. Unfortunately, I received two of the same colour. Minimum & Co were super quick to rectify this.

As it turned out, my other son liked the belts so much he asked his brother if he could borrow one. I ended up orering two more straps so they now have one of each colour.

The quality is top notch, and the service is super! Highly recommend the product, belt straps and the buckle (very impressive mechanism)

Great product. High quality. Versatile. Initially got one belt for myself on sale. Then got one for my daughter, work colleague, husband and son … each one of us now reaches for this belt as our primary belt!

How can I ever go back to wearing a 'normal' belt. These belts are the new 'normal'. No more trying to get the buckle into the right hole which is never in the right spot. Just wrap it around and through the buckle slot and 'bazinga' it's all locked in. So easy to put on and off. The instructions for sizing are super easy, and the belt looks classy and professional. My only issue now is what colour do I get next....

Was looking for Christmas gifts for family members and these belts caught my eye. They looked great with a much better buckle system than traditional style belt buckles. I decided to order 3. They came in lovely presentation boxes, ideal for gifting and the belts will suit different people with different body types

These belts are beautiful and high quality! I bought one for myself and a couple as gifts. I love mine, and my parter now only uses his new belt, which is saying something as he’s a creature of habit, and doesn’t tend to like new things! Now I need to save up to buy more in other colours 😍

Minimum Co belts are fantastic, they are well made and last well. Easy to set up for your right size and look great too.

I got one for my girlfriend for Christmas and she absolutely loved it. It works with pretty much any outfit I see her wearing and she commented on how it’s easy to adjust when she’s bloated. Safe to say I was in her good books 😂 it was also shipped quickly too. Thanks team.

I was looking for a gift for my Dad who is very picky. He usually does not use any of the gifts we give him but I have not seen him go out without this belt since we got it for him. He says it holds up really well and is comfortable unlike other belts that are either too loose or too tight. Wouldd defs recommend !

I was genuinely surprised at how good these belts are. High quality, great fit, amazing design. I loved it so much that I bought another one (a different colour buckle) immediately. On a recent holiday, my brother loved it, so I gifted it to him. So I bought my third before I even got home. Game changer in terms of belts. Looks awesome and feels great.

Easy to purchase, postage was fast and the belt is exquisite. I did buy it for my husband for Xmas but ended up giving it to him early as the belt he was wearing had run out of holes after weight loss. I intend to buy myself a lady one soon.

I’ve put up with wearing the same I’ll-fitting belts for years, putting up with flying shirt tails, bunched loose shirt fronts around the waist and, general discomfort. My life changed the minute I wore a Minimum Co belt. Perfect fit, every day, all day - no adjustments, no loose shirt tails. The quality of the leather and the finish of both the belt and buckle are superb. Fantastic value.

I bought 2 for my husband on father's day and he was super impressed and threw all his other belts out. He loves the simple no holes ratchet system.
Nice quality leather and they look so smooth and stylish too.

My new Gunmetal Nickel black leather belt is superb. I had been given a brown Minimum belt a few years ago, and it has lasted much longer than a normal buckle belt due to the ratchet design, which does not bend the leather belt. The length is very easy to adjust, and the belt is so easy to tighten and loosen. These belts are the best I have ever owned.

Amazing quality belts, authentic leather. The belts are so easy to put on and take off.

The belt itself seems like decent enough quality but it definitely isn't designed for women.
It's clearly a men's belt, designed using men's proportions. The belt buckle is quite wide, so looks very chunky, rather than minimalistic on a slim woman's body.
It would be nice if on the slim belts, they reduced the size of the buckle to be more proportionate.
When I emailed asking to return the product, it felt like they were arguing with me, and were not wanting me to return the belt.
Its a shame because I like the design, but its just too clunk and big.
