Be wary of ordering online

Ordered on the 9th August and paid for next day delivery, thinking as it was paid for on a Saturday it would be shipped out Monday/Tuesday in plenty of time for the 15th for my daughters birthday. I have since got some response to filling out the form, and they have refunded my £3.50 next day delivery charge. Items still not arrived.. it’s the 19th today. Got a message from parcel to go last Thursday, saying they are expecting it.. still showing as that.. responses seem to be hit and miss. But come on.. I’ve spent £64 and they still haven’t arrived, they were for my daughter’s birthday, and that’s come and gone. The response I got was that the warehouse is busy.. well shut down the website then, and stop taking further orders!

Avoid Online Orders

My teenage child ordered items online. They find visiting stores in person challenging due their neurodiversity. It has been well over a month with no sign of the order. I have contacted customer services multiple times and are either ignored or they say the matter will be resolved within 2 days then another week goes by with no response or items dispatched. AVOID ordering online at all costs - no dispatch and customer services do not help.

Appalling service

If I could give zero stars I would. Ordered for my daughter’s birthday and paid the £3.50 for express shipping (order was over £45). Should have been dispatched the same day and delivered next day according to their website. 3 emails and 10 working days later I got a dispatch email. No reply to any of my emails until the day of delivery when they sent me a screenshot of their delivery confirmation and said ‘your parcel has been delivered’. No apology, no compensation offered, nothing. Will never order from them again.

AVOID!

ordered from here using Klarna, had no updates from my order for a week then i received an email saying that they were having trouble with Klarna and expected to have the issues resolved within 3 days. One week again and still no update. Emailed them and no reply, messages on Facebook with no reply, sent another email and took about a week to respond and said they had to cancel my order. The items i had ordered and desperately wanted are no longer on the site so im guessing they ran out of stock. Waste of time.

Unhelpful

Ordered a week before my holiday after googling to make sure it would arrive in time (google told me 2-3 days). Ordered two items - after a week had passed I still had no further updates so I emailed customer service. I got a refund 3 days later for one of my items which was apparently now out of stock, even though I’d ordered it ten days ago by this point. I then got an email saying “order complete” so I assumed it had been delivered as I was on holiday at this point. I got home around 4 days later to find that there was no parcel. I checked the tracking number and it just said “shipping details received” with no evidence of it even being shipped out. I then emailed customer service again, and received no response. By this point it had been nearly three weeks with nothing. I luckily paid with PayPal so submitted a case with screenshots and was quickly refunded. Gutted as I just wanted my order and I visit their shop in Derby quite frequently and never had an issue, so I assumed their online site would be reliable. They estimate 72 hours for customer service replies yet three weeks saw no reply. Really unhappy - they have a fab store in person but their online site is clearly not manned properly, includes and allows people to order out of stock items, unresponsive and unhelpful. Judging by a lot of the other reviews on this site this isn’t just a “me” problem either, they frequently do this to other people too. If you can get to an in-person store I’d recommend but online is worth avoiding.

This is now unacceptable.
I’ve contacted your customer service multiple times regarding my missing Chiikawa Usagi Large 48cm Standing Plush Soft Toy (Order # 000048808 on 15/July/2025) and still have not received any reply.

I paid for this item and it was never delivered.

Cancelled purchase, no refund - awful experience

I bought three items as a gift. A couple of days later, I received an email saying two of the items had been cancelled and would be refunded, and the last item had been shipped. I immediately contacted support because I no longer wanted the one item to be sent as it wasn't worth the shipping anymore. No one ever got back to me. Now three weeks later, no item has arrived an no refund has been processed. I have been to the physical shop many times and love the items, but this online service is worse than scam shops from China, stay away!

**AWFUL COMPANY**

**AWFUL COMPANY. NON-EXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE**

Discount code for first order doesn't work. Paid almost £7 for next day delivery rather than use the free shipping option as I was in a hurry to receive my items. Order was dispatched 2 days after I placed it via standard delivery so didn't arrive in time for my daughter's birthday. Had to go through PayPal to get a refund.

Really Disappointing and Frustrating!

I wish I had read these reviews before placing an online order.

The order took several days longer than expected to arrive, which was bad enough as it was for a birthday present. Then when it arrived, 3 items were missing. On the website, the order was showing as fully shipped.

I then sent multiple queries via the web form as requested and also by email, and got no response. I eventually tried to message via the Miniso UK Facebook page and got a reply.

I then got an email saying the items were shipped and I would receive details soon. I did not. I repeated the "send emails get no reply" process and eventually got a response saying ok I will receive a refund (after trying Facebook messenger chat again).

They have now processed the refund...for the incorrect amount. Looking forward to another round of no response to my email.

Avoid!

Overpriced chocolate sticks

Having recently visited Japan, it was lovely to discover this shop in the Arndale Centre. I really enjoyed browsing, and it brought back some great memories of the trip. In addition, the employees were very friendly and professional.

My only complaint is that I bought three packs of Sanrio chocolate sticks for about £2.50 each, only to find that each one only contained three sticks! That was disappointing, because it seemed overpriced. I have previously bought similar products elsewhere (for a lower price), and the packs contained more sticks.

Terrible service & they won't respond

Two weeks for my delivery to arrive and when it did some items were damaged. Poor packaging. If you write to them, you'll be left disappointed as you won't hear back from them at all. I have had to email 3 times now regarding my order as they don't respond. Two weeks for delivery when they state 2-5 days for standard delivery is terrible. Niece was looking forward to her stitch blind box for her birthday and it arrived totally damaged and very late!!

Avoid at all costs

I placed an order using a £25 gift voucher. I had an e-mail to say that my refund (that I never requested) had been processed and my money would be refunded. As I used a gift voucher this money now appears to have disappeared into the ether, I do not have my order and radio silence from the company. The gift voucher is online only so it isn't even an option to go to my local store. I am furious and would never order from this sham company again.

No problems

I have to admit I was a bit wary because of the other reviews on here. Ordered 4 blind boxes on the 3rd June, they arrived on the 6th. Well packaged and I was sent a tracking number as soon as they shipped.

Will not order from Miniso again

Ordered online on 4th May. Never received the order. I raised a query with company on 16th May to ask where my order was and got no reply, but then did finally get email confirmation order had been sent, over two weeks after order placed. It’s now the 1st June and still no response to my query and worse no items nearly a month after placing order.

Customer service isn't bad, it's nonexistent.

Got an email on 10.05.25 telling me that they'd refunded an item in my order due to it being 'unavailable', even though it's still listed as being available to buy now, over a week later. I emailed them on that date asking what was going on, still haven't received any kind of response. When I received my order last week, one of the items was wrong. So I emailed again to let them know and ask again about the bag. Still no response, even though they "aim to respond to emails within 48 hours". Should've read the reviews before ordering but thought it would be fine since I'd had no problems in the actual shop before.

Miniso Liverpool one - does not meet accessible needs for people with physical disabilities

Miniso Liverpool one.
I went to the opening of the miniso store at Liverpool one yesterday with my niece and our experience was not great. I have physical disabilities which mean i struggle to walk and stand still, but I am not a wheelchair user. The queue to enter miniso was extremely long with customers queuing between 1-2hours. I asked about assessibility due to my physical disabilities and was told that no accessible needs were in place and that I would have to stand in the queue if I wanted to enter, I was told that people in wheelchairs were in the queue, but im not a wheelchair user. I feel that customers with physical disabilities should have their needs met, and should not feel that they are unable to do something. I felt that I had let me niece down whom was looking forward to going in to the store. I had to get my mum who's in her 60s to stand in the queue with my niece, they stood in the queue for 1hour and 20minutes to enter the store. My niece wanted to make a purchase to be able to get a goodie bag but by this time the store had run out. I witnessed a customer who was standing in the queue faint and drop to the floor. The weather was extremely hot and the queue was extremely long. I feel that more customers could've entered the store than what they let in each time, they left the queue a lot longer that what I felt was necessary and I dont feel it was fair to customers. My experience was very poor and I feel that the customer service for people with disabilities was very poor, which shouldn't be the case. I have an access card which shows that I have mobility issues and that I cannot stand in a queue but this did not matter. I was left feeling very deflated and a let down to my niece, and guilty that my mum who's in her 60s had to stand and queue for such a long amount of time.

I wish I had read the reviews before I…

I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered. Ordered a few 5 items, 1 wasn't even sent. 1 item was missing parts and 1 item was sent wrong not what I ordered.
I filled in the email form still nothing. Called no answer. Left a voicemail nothing back. Seriously disappointed taken my money and not delivered the correct items.

Wrong item, no refund. Avoid!

As others have said, the online service is really awful. Ordered an item online, was sent the wrong thing. Asked for a refund, was told it would be sent. A week went by, I emailed and asked what was happening, was told it would be sent that day. Another week has gone by and the item has not been received. I’ve asked for a refund but I don’t hold out much hope. Really really dreadful.
