The Misen carbon nonstick is the opposite of nonstick. I’ve have had it for 6 months (with daily use) and have tried all of the use and care tips provided by Misen customer service. Nothing has worked. It gets stickier over time. I have tried to publish my honest review on their website 3 times, with pictures to support my statements, and they have denied my review each time. The reviews for the pan are so skewed because the control what gets published. Also, if I had wanted to return my pan during the 60 day return window they were going to charge a hefty fee. When I tried to make a warranty claim that the pan was defective because it was in fact not non-stick, that was denied because they said it’s expected for food to stick. I’m frustrated and angered by this company’s deceptive practices.

I absolutely love the cookware! the ONLY reason I didn't give 5 stars as I am still waiting for the lid to my large frying pan ordered back on March 3rd (almost a month and a half ago). My experience with the pans and pot that I have ordered have all been first rate and I highly recommend them to anyone. These aren't cheap because they are such high quality (and worth every penny!).

I purchased several products from misen and when I had problems with them, they were dismissive and unapologetic. The silicon utensils do not hold up and they do nothing to make it right. Also, my scissors rusted.

Well I had high hopes for their new non-stick pan technology. Especially so as I closely examined my worn-out teflon and other coatings on my current pans. The scratched and scarred finishes have me dreading what is entering my body through the food prepared in them. But alas; I found the Misen cookware fell short of its nonstick claims. The low sides on the pans were also disconcerting. Favorite pan dishes like my Chicken Fricassee totally spilled over the sides of these pans when making my usual recipe. But on the bright side; Misen Customer Support was superb! They were respectful, friendly, timely, and honorable in supporting their 60-day trial return warranty. I do hope the company makes changes to increase the depth of their pans and fine-tune the non-stick performance. I'm totally ready to commit if they can get over these two significant flaws.

I've ordered several items from Misen before and when these utensils were put on sale, I bought several, some for myself and some for gifts. Items arrived quickly and were of the great quality I've come to expect of Misen.

The carbon nonstick pan does not work as advertised. Everything sticks! It's beyond useless when trying to cook eggs. I've followed all of the specific steps suggested by the manufacturer, but nothings works.

First, the products are high quality, and we love using them. But more importantly, when I did have an issue with the pricing of my order, customer service responded to my request almost immediately and issued a partial refund without requiring any jumping through hoops. I'd definitely do business here again.

Lived up to their promise!

I love my Misen chef's knife, but years and years of having it, it finally snapped. Misen was quick to send me a new one. Rare to see that kind of service.

Misen is a great company with fantastic products! I have outfitted my kitchen with outstanding non-stick pans and nearly all the knives they sell.

I don’t normally write reviews, but Misen’s customer service is outstanding. I had a question, not even an issue, and they answered my question AND refunded the charge I was asking about. Their response was prompt as well. Happy to support Misen. If I have an issue with a product, I’m confident they’ll resolve it.

Just got the misen chef's knife. It punches way above its price point and arrived in a protective sleeve inside a very classy box

What a TERRIBLE company. We were JUST outside their return window and had purchased the carbon non-stick pan. We followed all directions and we already use and regularly season our cast iron pans. WHAT a piece of junk. It is no longer non-stick, it is discolored, and the customer service department of the company is openly rude in email responses. TURN AND RUN! DO NOT BUY!

And now I have a response from Misen, which shows more of their conceited attitude. Yes, NOW it is 120 days since purchase, but it was well over a month ago when I first wrote to your company to ask for a replacement for this pan. But thank you so much for trying to make me look like I was lying. It is your company who has issues with honesty (such as in selling faulty products and having no accountability for them) not I. Have a lovely day.

I soaked my 12 inch pan overnight and the enamel wore off. I have only had this pan for 3 months. I contacted customer service and was denied my claim due to being outside the 60 day return window. Buyer beware! Expensive junk.

Update to my review: I called it enamel, but it is whatever the top layer is. I used nothing that would scratch it and I submitted a photo of the damage to customer service. I don’t want to use a pan that has the top layer worn. My other Misen pans are working great. So I am not sure why the 12 inch failed. In either case, it’s disappointing that I’ve only had this pan for 3 months.

I am a long term customer of Misen, and have nothing but good things to say .... I have never had a bad experience. I broke the kid to my wok , and they were unable to replace the lid.... So they gave me a Misen credit to spend online for the cost to replace the entire wok , or buy something else. That's real customer service ! I can't say enough good thing about Misen. I will be a life long customer

I had purchased the Carbon Steel Non-Stick pan from Amazon. After the first use, the pan bottom bowed out causing it not to sit flat. I reached out to the Misen customer service and they were quick to respond and sent me a replacement pan free of charge. I was very satisfied with the whole experience.

I bought the Misen Carbon Nonstick™ Frying Pan expecting a workhorse; instead the nonstick coating disintegrated after only a few months of careful use. Food now sticks, cleaning is a nightmare, and the centre is patchy and gritty. I followed all care instructions, so this looks like a clear manufacturing failure, and my warranty claim was rejected without a clear explanation. Customer service offered only boilerplate responses instead of a refund—do not buy.
