MLV Transportation LLC Reviews 

We had them move a few things from Missouri to Illinois recently. Everyone was very friendly, nice, and accommodating. They also handled our things with care. We had some glitches with communication with the drivers in terms of letting us know changes in pick up and delivery times, but the main customer service line was great helping us with this. I would consider using them again.

Between MVL, A and B & Roadway avoid using all of them if at all possible. I was over charged according to my paperwork that I received by all three companies. A And B admitted to mishandling paperwork and then Shazam they say I wasn’t overcharged. I call shenanigans on that. To go along with being overcharged after asking Roadway if there were going to be any hidden charges and being told no I get hit with all kinds of hidden charges. That wasn’t the end of it. After handing off my stuff a couple of different times and it arrives at my new residence in Texas I am missing some of my stuff. I spoke with A and B about my missing stuff and crickets. Not only was I missing stuff a number of my moving tubs had cracks in the lids from mishandling/stacking. The final straw was MVL leaving behind all of packing moving trash. This is not a good look for all three companies Roadway, A and B and MVL. I wouldn’t recommend any of these companies.

This moving company is awful! They lost my bookcase & numerous items of mine were broken. Lamps, end table, picture frame, Harley Davidson mug, bull skull, wine glass. I felt so angry & disrespected. They gave me 2 fans that weren't mine. These things some of which can never be replaced. I am disgusted as they will not help you get reimbursed. I tried to file a complaint & was basically told it's useless. MOVERS BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. Plus, made me pay an extra 100.00 when they delivered & wasn't going to wright it on the bill of lading, was going to pocket the cash. DISGUSTING!!!!

Before booking, I reviewed the company’s cancellation policy, which clearly states that deposits are fully refundable if the customer cancels in writing at least three days before the scheduled pickup date.

My pickup was scheduled for July 18, and I submitted my cancellation in writing on July 10—eight days before the move. Despite following the written policy, I was told by a company representative that they actually require seven business days’ notice to receive a refund. That requirement does not appear anywhere in the cancellation policy I agreed to.

When I pointed out the discrepancy, rather than honoring the written agreement, I was told they do “so much work on the back end” and that everyone is subject to the same rule. While I understand businesses have costs, customers should be able to rely on the terms of the contract they sign—not additional policies communicated only after they request a refund.

I spoke with Christian Gomez who made it seem like they were helping me and ended up trying to take advantage.

My issue isn’t that my plans changed. It’s that the company refused to honor its own written cancellation policy.

I encourage anyone considering this company to carefully review all terms in writing and obtain clarification on any cancellation policies before paying a deposit.

The guys who moved our furniture into the truck were fabulous. That is the only reason MLV is getting a star at all. It is 2 weeks past “1st available delivery date” and I cannot get anyone to answer a phone. All I want is a follow up on approximate delivery date. No one told us about the optional Premium Guaranteed Service or I would have paid for it. What does it take to get in touch with someone, because your phone number doesn’t work, ever! I’ve tried at least a dozen times at different times of the day. You can’t even leave a message.

I would like to thank the team from MLV movers - Anderson, Jonathon and Oscar for a great experience. We had 1000 cu reserved for a move. The team showed up- we measured the truck space- we walked through the house to identify everything that was being shipped - and packing and loading started. The crew finished in 2 hours and took care of all of our items with padding- wrap and tape as necessary. The driver advised me of the next step which was to take my items to a warehouse . He advised me the next driver would be the driver bringing everything to the destination address. My delivery will happen in the next 10-14 days based on the 1800 Mile distance of my shipment. I would recommend this company for others looking to ship items during this summer season.

Was so worth getting this done! Was quick and easy they did what they had to do getting my stuff in and out would highly recommend to anyone very hard working people and great customer service! Thank you again!
