Leave well alone ! Will damage your scooter.
I sent my mobility scooter to this business in April 2025, it was returned May, it went in for repair as I had had an accident and needed primarily bodywork. They lent me a scooter to use while mine was with them. This scooter was more like a John Deer tractor - it was rough and well used. It also had a puncture and the seat wouldn't lock in place.
When my scooter was returned the delivery guy mentioned there was an issue with the battery and would need to be charged. He went through the work they claim to have done and asked me to sign for delivery.
The first time I took the scooter out it struggled to get to the local shop and back (1.7 miles). I had to push the scooter home. Not an easy task for a disabled person. The scooter also rocked side tom side which it hadn't done before. I put the scooter on charge for a couple of days and took it out again. Again I could only do 4 miles maximum return on a "full battery" whereas the day before it went I was able to do a 24 mile round trip. I have contacted them several times to address this issue but they refuse to accept responsibility or complete the work they have been paid for.
