Ordered October 2023, still nothing. Nice new website online, how about you don't accept any more orders until you either fulfill what you have - or send people their money back - it's not rocket science

Would give no stars if possible despite numerous telephone call after nearly one year I have not received the goods I paid for. They are no longer contactable so do not deal with them unless you want to loose your money.

Would put zero stars if I could After several years (yes years) I finally got my order - with several items missing. Radio silence from the proprietor.

Order placed in January 2024 for two small items. Bank transfer was only available payment method, which I thought odd. Items never received, despite several attempts to make contact, including at least six phone calls. Every excuse under the sun was given for delay - production problems, too much stock to sort out, no one to help, illness, injury, etc. I have been told at least twice that the products had been dispatched, once by priority courier, but nothing ever arrived. I am inclined to give people the benefit of the doubt, as running a small business can be challenging, but I have reached the point of not trusting a word I hear from this man. I guess this man makes his money by being brazenly dishonest and grinding down people's willingness to challenge him.

I ordered 2 lots of transfers from Modelmaster Jackson Evans in May 2024. I have received 2 confirmation invoices and paid by Bacs each time. Still not received any goods despite me phoning and emailing numerous times. Last email was 3 weeks ago and they said the goods would be with me within 10 days. Phoned Ayr Council Trading Standards today and they cannot investigate as I live in a different area i.e.Yorkshire. My advice is not to trade with this man.

Hello, further to my previous email…….I am not related to Jim Grindlay, he has not paid me to write this and furthermore he did owe me outstanding money/goods. I can report that I have now received my orders in full and have no dispute with the man. In fairness he has always been fair/honest and reliable over the years and his problems have not been totally down to him. Jim needs some help and I have offered to him free of charge in an attempt to help with his business. He is not a fraud….just an elderly man who is struggling. Can I suggest you keep trying to contact him he wants to full fill his commitments to his customers.

Like most on here I wish zero stars was an option. My order is 6 months in the waiting, all paid for. This guy is a scammer, takes your money but doesn’t deliver, is rude if you can get to speak to him, doesn’t reply to emails. I asked for my money back a month ago but still radio silence. Don’t use him, if his company folds it will do many a favour

On 25th March, I found that Modelmaster UK was the only company producing the particular decals I wanted, so, despite being very wary about their insistence on payment by bank draft, I submitted my order. Their website promised a turnaround time of 3-4 days, so I eagerly awaited my items.
After one week, with no sign of my order, I emailed them but did not receive a reply. Five days later, I tried again with the same result. Yesterday, I sent a third email and also left a message on their answerphone but, perhaps unsurprisingly, I did not receive a reply.
I have now contacted South Ayrshire Trading Standards to report the matter, and I would urge anyone else with similar experience to do the same.

After a lengthy delay without any updates I tried contacting them many times by email and leaving phone messages but never had a reply.

In the end after sending a text message in which I said I was going to contact Trading Standards I had a phone call. They were nearly apologetic but blamed illness and the backlog of orders they were unable to process quickly. They agreed to a refund, sent an email confirming the refund had been processed but I have never received the refund. That was about 3 months ago. Still waiting!!!!!

Paid for transfers by bank transfer which I thought was odd, my account said it had gone through then kept getting reminders to pay. I've threatened him with police and he sent me a final reminder! Taking things further tomorrow
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I had used Modelmaster UK successfully for many orders, however !! I placed an order at the end of November 2022 and another at the end of December 2022, allowing for the Christmas and New Year break, nothing arrived and in February 2023, he was thrown out of the operating unit. I had numerous phone calls and accepted the story given. When they were up and running again, I placed another order, June 2023 as a gesture of support, well; here we are 14 months later, too many excuses / promises and £75.00 out of pocket. You can't leave a message, text don't get answered and I doubt emails get read. A number of words spring to mind !!

Ordered nameplates in August 2023 - insisted on BACS payment into his bank - Paid that day -NO GOODS - NO CONTACT - CON MAN who now claims everyone in the whole world is against him - Now taking him to court in Scotland - not for the money but the principle.

Ordered 2 sets of nameplates from this con man over a year ago and received nothing. Does not answer phone calls and ignores emails. How he still remains in business is unbelievable.

I wish it was possible to leave zero stars.
Ordered and paid for transfers in January 2021, still waiting for delivery. Phonecalls, emails, texts, letters, all to no avail. Recorded delivery letters, signed for but ignored. Don't go near this company.
If I take goods without paying for them I'm committing a criminal offence, when this company/person takes my money and refuses to send the goods it's not a criminal offence! Be warned.

Do not buy BR201 Coach No transfers for BR period.
They are often shown as correct gold letters and nos on a red card background.. They are now supplied gold on white card background are are completely illegible. Also there is a black on white printed sheet enclosed, this sheet presumably to aid identification of the transfers, unfortunately the sheet contents bear no resemblance to the transfers .

I am still waiting for an order from 2019. Another order has been delivered twice, but was completely wrong.
I sent the wrong items back at my expense and I still have not received the correct transfers!
I would advise people not to use Modelmaster.

Contrary to what you have read before while they have had some problems these are now resolved and most of the difficulties are due to problems with their carrier, not Modelmasters themselves. They are now resolving them.
