Ordered a dining a table and company was very eager to take the order. Promised delivery in 3 weeks. After many weeks of following up, chasing, calling, messaging the table finally arrived very very late. I could have bought a similar table in Mumbai in half the time. The product arrived and no one to install it. Had to chase them for an appointment after being promised a white glove assembly which was simply a urban clap guy who showed up. The base of the table was broken and unusable. Now the saga of trying to return this and gets. Refund after months of heartache and frustration. Terrible terrible customer service. No one answers calls or messages. Full of excuses. No customer support. Please don’t Easter your time with this company . Being a home stylist I though I would give Modholic a chance. Good God! What an exhausting, and disappointing experience.

Terrible service. Table top arrived damaged and unusable. Virtually no contact available at customer service. No one answers phone, no recording opportunity ever. Emails ignored. No refund. No replacement. No meaningful responses. Clearly incompetent or dishonest--it's anyone's guess. Time to register consumer claim.

Ordered two tulip chairs and they sent an email and when I responded to the info email it said there was NO SUCH email...then I read previous reviews here and now, I am afraid I have been scammed. I would like a response from them

Well well, long story short:
Purchased :coffee table
Product is looking good, but not sturdy, got a damaged product though, it was not replaced.I am still waiting, May be I file a complaint with consumer forum, i will think.I have enough proof to sue them, I wait.
Delivery: Hopeless, I can say useless,Modholic is not organised.
It took months.
Packaging: My package was opened, hardware was missing, but hardware was arranged.
Support: bad bad bad, Modholic doesn’t know what is return and exchange or refund.
Conclusion: I will not recommend Modholic.

Nine months ago, I ordered a soho coffee table that had an expected delivery of six weeks. Numerous contacts with customer service ensued and each time I would be assure table would be shipped … with the answer always either three weeks or six weeks. I finally asked for a refund six weeks ago, and Modholic agreed. I have multiple correspondence with customer service, but six weeks after requesting a refund, I have not received it. The saddest part is I had looked for weeks for the exact coffee table I needed – it would have been perfect. I feel like I have been scammed.
Horrible experience
I ordered an all white tulip table and 2 chairs. I never received an order confirmation to check order. When I received it I asked the shipping company to open it to make sure it was correct and they refused. Sure enough it was the wrong table! Called Modholic and they want me to pay$300 to send it back!!! Terrible experience and terrible accountability for their mistake!!

A Very Good Buying Experience
Our tulip table was delayed. Modholic's team was upfront about it, set proper expectations, and responded quickly to every inquiry. When the table finally came, my wife and I were very impressed by the quality. As a small table, it was far sturdier than we ever expected. Despite the disappointing start, we're very happy with the experience and highly recommend them.

I have written a review of the Modholic below. Even their reply is misleading, same as other statements made there regarding their service. Read reviews on their service at Yelp to confirm my experience.
1. I purchased a table over the thanksgiving sale in late November 2022. The company was closed until AFTER the Thanksgiving weekend. I paid $50 online for regular delivery but wasn’t able to inquire regarding white glove service until after the holiday weekend. At that time I paid AN EXTRA $100, total of $150, for white glove service. They have absolutely NOT given me any “ vacation hold”. It took almost 3 weeks to set up a mutually agreed delivery, and in fact the delivery service threatened a charge for a vacation hold if I couldn’t keep their date (December 19). The delivery coordinator advised me that deliveries are “ not at my convenience “ but as determined by them. Though luck.
2. It is Modholic’s responsibility to properly instruct THEIR White glove delivery choice to ask customers to clear away or leave behind the packing. The burden is NOT on the customer.
3. Their refusal to get a supervisor on the phone with me and absolute inflexibility to accept PROFESSIONAL repackaging at MY cost w a moving or shipping company shows the attitude of their customer service. Tough luck again dealing with them.
4. As such, the last paragraph about contacting them for further help is meaningless. I HAVE tried to resolve this BEFORE writing my reviews and no one was there “ happy to help”. The opposite it true.
Once you paid this company, good luck trying to work out any potential problem with them. Banging your head against the wall is more pleasant.
PPS. Modholic’s latest response is yet again simply misstating the facts. I have not ordered an item and immediately put on vacation hold, rather paid their regular shipping fee of $50 and upgraded it to white glove delivery with an additional $100, then spent many hours over many days trying to time a delivery “at the convenience of their delivery team”, as told to me by the delivery coordinator. See Yelp for reviews with people having exactly the same type of problems.
Modholic hires the delivery team but seems they don’t care to assure that the customers don’t run into unpleasant situations when the white glove service, without asking, clears out the packaging. The delivery team should be instructed to ask what to do with the packaging materials, not clear them out without a word.
With the packaging excuse, Modholic simply refuses the refund, as they prefer to keep the money, and doesn’t accept a paid-for-by-the-customer professional packaging as offered by me. Even though they insist on the original packaging for safe transport, they won’t even consider a paid for pro job and judge the safe delivery of the item after arrival. They are unnegotiable because they are intent on not having to refund any money.
They are not willing to put a supervisor on the line to discuss. And keep making responses which are far removed from reality.
There is no one to help you at this company. If you have an issue, either give up or go public like I am doing, including the BBB, and dispute with the cc company. Otherwise, there is No cooperation or help no matter what their canned response lines say. Buyer beware.
