Im disgusted to look at my bank and this company moneycope had taken £5.99 today and also 6 months back to total of £42 they have taken from my bank I have nnever made an account with them or a direct debit be careful people these are 100% scammers

I had a notice of an overdraft from my bank this morning. I looked at my statement and found an outfit called Moneycope has stolen £5.99 from my account by direct debit. On further investigation, I found they did the same last month. I have never heard of them! How can they set up a direct debit on my bank account when I have never heard of them? I have cancelled the dd and emailed the company to demand they put back what they already took. I don't hold out much hope. Disgraceful that this could happen.

so am just working one day and I receive a suprise email about direct debit setup of 5.99£ on my card. I try following up and i see moneycope. Call their customers number and they pretend I talked with one of their agents. I ask for the recording of the conversation and the agent I spoke to since I have never called any agent and they start going rounds. The indian accent on the other end says it all. Scam Scam Scam.

They are scammers!!!! They sent me an email saying that I set up a payment plan for 5.99£ I never heard anything about money cope! Fk scammers they are from India!

I have received an email from this company stating they are going to debit my account for £5.99. Never heard of them and did not subscribe. I have emailed and told them not to debit account and I'll be in my bank 1st thing. Its a scam!

I never used their service! Neither do I even know what they do! How they got my account details is still a mystery. They debited me £5:99! This scam at it’s finest! Thieves! That’s what they are!

I never setup this. But how they did that.

I had a very bad experience with Moneycorp. Their service was extremely poor, and I felt scammed. I do not trust this company, and I would not recommend them to anyone. The staff were not helpful and gave misleading information. One staff member in particular, Mr. Harry Donaghy, was especially unprofessional. Please be careful and avoid using this company.

Me too !! never subscribed. Had a direct debit set up for £5.99 per month. Wrote to them. They replied and said my account had been cancelled and no direct debits would be taken. They have been ! I have written to them again and am awaiting reply. I have no idea how they got my bank details and that is really disturbing !

going to have to get my bank to refund me and block them

Set up a scam Direct debit. Cancelled in time to stop the payments.

Just had a email to say I’ve been set up for a 5.99 a month subscription never heard or interacted with money cope have spoken to them and cancelled it waiting for the confirmation email and I’ve also spoken to my bank to cancel it too just to be on the safe side

Just got a email notification that I have a subscription with this company who also somehow had my bank account and sort code for direct debits. I have never interacted with this company in my life, never even heard of them. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Took money out with out permission fraudulent/ scam. reported to police, Bank and FCA

Moneycope have tryed in the space of 8 days to take money twice from my account WITHOUT CONSENT.

Money stolen from account from Moneycope might only be £5.99 but it's theft, some sad times we are living in when we can't even have our bank.accounts safe!!!! 😡
