Bought a cooker because of the height of the oven. 3 weeks in it developed a fault. Called and was asked to provide proof of purchase, I asked for an email to send it to. After a week went online and requested a service call attaching receipts, did it again a week later as no response, another week and I called them. Email sent to wrong person due to spelling error, they had not received online requests. Engineer came out, diagnosed a faulty ring on the hob and left saying it could be 2 days or 2 weeks to get the part, 2 days and a 2nd engineer came, he decided it was the knob that was the problem and left with same speech. 3rd engineer arrived with part following week (6 weeks now). Dismantled the hob, and couldn't reassemble it. Found faulty wiring done by installer and left me with no cooker apologising and assuring me insurance would sort it. Today Montpellier called to say they would not replace the cooker as the wiring invalidated their warranty, basically leaving me high and dry, telling me to take it up with the supplier, even though it was their engineers that destroyed the cooker (the wiring could of been sorted easily).
Thankfully my supplier refunded me with no argument as I wouldn't buy another Montpellier appliance.

Wanted to buy British so chose their Integrated fridge freezer in Oct 2021 then just 3.5 years into its life it has died for no apparent reason. I expected longer than 3.5 years to be honest and understand it is probably the compressor. Not good quality and to give a 2 year warranty as if anything over 2 years is a bonus suggests they don't expect it to last longer either.

What a pity that the after sales service is non existent. The ladies in the call centre are very helpful but sadly the repair department avoids attending to a faulty appliance that was received faulty. It's been a nightmare trying to get the repairman out. Maybe writing this review will get someone to do something about my oven that was delivered faulty one month ago and still an engineer has not attended and every excuse has been found to not attend.

I have never encountered such poor service upon receipt of a faulty item. We have consumer laws in place and the company has a responsibility but for some reason Montpellier is on another planet that does not assume its obligations.

Fantastic company, never had to call them for real help or support, lasted the lifetime of the item, grate looking appliances beyond 10 out of 10 for peace to use the appliance and live my life, anything that went wrong for human error and nothing to do with the company miss you bye montpellier aaaaaaaaaaaa take care thanks yum-yum whats for eating He .

A good appliance at a reasonable price

The item was delivered the next day without any issues and well packaged. The only thing was when placing the order there was no option to add disposing of my old item or installing the new. I contacted the supplier and got the contact details of the carrier regarding disposing of my old item, they were helpful but it was not a usual thing for them so, I got rid of it, it's a good simple quiet machine with a helpful supplier when contacted. I have noticed (a week or so later) that at this time installing and removing etc. are offered so now I am giving 5 stars.

The cooker was everything it said it was

Carin in customer services was fantastic.
Listened to the problem and responded efficiently and courteously.

A recall number was issued later the next working day for our old machine to be picked up and replaced with a new one.

I had my kitchen fully fitted with all Montpellier appliances, but the washing machine failed, no joy from them so that went, then the dishwasher stopped working, again no joy with spares. The oven now needs new hinges and no spares. The moral here DO NOT USE THE SAME COMPANY FOR ALL YOUR APPLIANCES, and this company are not that good. I do note that all the reviews are never looked at so maybe a waste of time.

Integrated fridge stopped working after 3 years!
Montpellier did everything to escape responsibility, even before viewing it. Our kitchen installer advised highly likely that the fault is with the appliance, and they have stopped using them after a number of customer issues.
On top of this, we've also had the integrated freezer replaced in the past 3 years.
Do yourself a favour... use another brand!

I have had quite a few makes 3kg tumble dryers over about 30 years and this is the first one that actually dries things. Every other brand I have had takes forever to dry things, even when almost dry before putting in the machine. The Montpellier 3kg tumble dryer dries everything very quickly and efficiently. Also it is very quiet and extremely easy to operate

misplaced receipt and warranty is not valid...they should have details of their products and how new it is etc..but human error and done for..

Just had a Montpellier washing machine delivered last Friday and used it over the weekend and so far I am extremely impressed. Only used the 60 min feature, both washes came out clean and the machine is so quiet a couple of times I went to check to make sure it was actually working. Need to go complete the warranty info.

DISGUSTING AND `UTTERLY DISTURBING` FOREIGN CALL CENTRE WHO CALL EVERY 45 MINUTES STARTING FROM 8AM ASKING FOR BANK DETAILS WHICH THEY ALREADY HAVE EVEN THOUGH I SAID I WAS`NT GOING TO GIVE THEM OVER THE PHONE. HAVE NOW CANCELLED POLICY AFTER DISCONNECTING PHONE LINE BEFORE GOING TO BED EVERY NIGHT SO WE ARE NOT WOKEN BY THIS CALLOUS AND RUDE COMPANY

We bought the condenser dryer in May 2024 and all went smoothly until November when it intermittently turned off. Then it started to over heat and shrink clothes. Using the warranty we requested assistance and after 2 weeks (!) Montpellier sent an engineer who assessed there were no issues! They then sent us a bill for £78 for the pleasure of having an engineer visit.
