Deeply Disappointing – Prioritises Profit Over Childcare
My experience with Morning Star Nursery has been deeply disappointing. From early on, it felt like financial gain was prioritised over quality care for children.
Invoices regularly contained discrepancies, with overcharging for nursery fees. I had to check each one closely, and when I raised questions, I was met with defensiveness. In particular, I found management including Beverleigh, unhelpful and dismissive of my concerns.
I was also very concerned that my child’s own nappies, wipes, and spare clothes were being used for other children. I had to frequently replace these items, and some of my child’s clothing went missing without explanation. This caused a lot of frustration and felt poorly managed.
Staff often appeared disengaged, and communication was lacking. It was difficult to get consistent or meaningful feedback from my child’s keyworker, which made it hard to feel confident in the level of care being provided.
Overall, this nursery did not meet the standards I expected in terms of professionalism, transparency, or child-focused care. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Morning Star Nursery.
