Some items do disappear very quickly once they arrive, and if I’m honest, when things get especially busy behind the scenes I don’t always get things replenished / updated online as quickly as I’d like either. First class in my books
I have just received the most carefully and beautifully wrapped parcel. This item was a simple fat quarter of linen but it felt as if I was opening the most expensive of precious gifts. Pressed fabric, enclosed in crisp tissue paper protector and an sturdy outer box. A company that takes this much care on such a simple item is first class in my books. Attention to detail
I have ordered from morris works several times. My order always arrives promptly, beautifully packaged with care, with a hand written card always in with my order. Just the little attention to detail makes it that bit special. Morrisworks is my go to for modern fabric.

A wonderful discovery for lovers of fabric
I discovered Morris Works Quilt Shop whilst doing a general search for fabrics. The web site offers a variety of filters so your search can be specific to your requirements. There is a vast stock of fabrics and other sewing accessories, so you are spoilt for choice.
On the day I made my order my computer had a problem which meant that I could not make a payment. So I contacted Morris Works and spoke to an extremely helpful member of staff called Gabrielle. She reassured me that if I continued to have a problem she would take the order over the phone so I could promptly receive the material. Excellent customer service.
The order arrived via Royal Mail and delivered as stated on the order confirmation. The contents was wrapped in paper and sealed in a cardboard box all of which can be recycled. The quality of the fabric is excellent (100% cotton). I will definatly use this company again and recommend it to other crafters.
