He is proactive, helpful, approachable, super knowledgeable and he really cares about getting you the best product, even when the circumstances and market are tricky. We've used Steve twice now for securing our mortgage. Both times there have been complexities - houses falling through needing new offers for new place, frustrating credit issues the second time - and in both cases Steve has been a lifeline. With the stress of everything in buying, having a broker is money well spent. In our recent remortgage with credit issues for the first time, he took on our challenges and additional work required (whilst unwell I might add!) to secure us something just before rates further skyrocketed due to market conditions, and his knowledge helped us not damage my credit rating further in the process. Had I been doing it myself that may have been a risk. I'm sold on having a mortgage broker and I highly recommend Steve for his responsiveness, knowledge and commitment.
