Sold me a car knowing it needed £1000 pounds worth of work doing on it dual mass flywheel is the problem and I know he knew there was an issue car was £2800 I will be taking this further DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

We bought a car for our 17 year old daughter who had newly passed her test from this company, the car was sold to us with a full 12month MOT with no advisories.
The dealer told us it had a 3 month warranty, 3 weeks later the car had an oil leak so we took it to our trusted mechanic to assess it, he inspected the car and in his opinion the car was not roadworthy and should not have passed an MOT and would cost more than the car was worth to put right.
When we contacted the dealer he vaguely offered to repair the car but when my wife said she didn't trust him to do it properly he hung up the phone and ceased all communication. We sent him an email and physical letter detailing the faults and as yet had no response nor do we expect to.

My Wife and I are absolutely disgusted with the service from Motorzone Burnley and would not recommend anyone buy a car from them.

I purchased my car from them just four months ago. Recently, I took it to a garage because the brake judder was getting progressively worse — and I’m glad I did.

The mechanic discovered that when the brakes had supposedly been done before delivery, the front wheel bolts had been massively over-torqued, causing damage to the brakes. It took the garage hours just to remove them properly.

On top of that, we then discovered evidence that the car had previously suffered an engine fire, something that was never disclosed to us at the time of sale. We also found green masking tape holding one of the air intakes in place.

I contacted Motorzone Burnley directly via TikTok to raise these serious concerns, but I have received no response whatsoever. Since they have chosen to ignore me privately, I am now leaving this review publicly so others are aware of my experience.
