Context – My daughter went to the branch in 3 Rivers mall with a friend. As they got to the door, a staff member, female, started chatting to my daughter’s friend, and told the friend to tell my daughter she is not permitted to enter, no reason given.
Since my daughter is passive, she left, but explained the situation to me in confusion that same evening. I managed to get a complaint through and the area manager Renier contacted me via the formal routes (website). He showed initial interest in getting to the bottom of the issue. After that, it was difficult to get anything out of him, as I suspect the “I’ve done my part” mentality had kicked in as his response was “its been escalated to the store’s Ops manager”. The last communication was the 20th of Feb. I DID have one email say that they “couldn’t get through on the cell number provided”. Irony is every other person I know gets a hold of me perfectly fine on the number Renier got, on cellular or whatsapp! What a lame excuse! At this point I only care for an email apology and explanation!

Ordered a Cabo chair online in the store in sea point the 24th of jan. Today is the 13th of feb. Still no chair. Store cant give my money back since they say It should arrive first in order to return.
Have been 4 times to the store and everytime its “arriving tomorrow”.
Sick of this horrible experience. Just give me my moneys back, dont even want the chair anymore since i bought another one at a shop that did function as advertised.

I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent click and collect online shopping experience with Mr Price.
I placed my order on 28 January, and to date, the order has still not arrived. This is extremely frustrating, particularly as the website states that delivery takes 4 to 6 days, which has clearly not been the case.
Had I known that the delivery would take this long, I would not have placed the order online. Even orders from international platforms arrive sooner than this. This experience has been disappointing and inconvenient.
This was my first time ordering online from Mr Price, and unfortunately, it will also be my last. Going forward, I will only make purchases in store.
I would appreciate feedback on the status of my order and an explanation for the delay., on the same day i called and complained my order came through the next day how ironic
Extreme order delay
I place an order on the 25th of January and I received an order confirmation, when I tried to track my order, it didn’t show on my profile. I called and got a very lousy answer, that my order is ready to be shipped however not an answer as to why can’t I track my order.
Their customer service team is very useless and they do t care. Even today I haven’t received my order and no updates.
I sent them a WhatsApp and the answer I got was that it has been escaped to the couriers

I called in to query a few things relating to account creation. The advisor by the name of Carlyle was outstanding. He was friendly, patient and understanding. He assisted me promptly and efficiently. I too work in customer services,so I know what it's like on a daily bases dealing with different types of customers. And as a new customer I'm extremely happy with with the start of my Mr Price journey due to Carlyle. I hope this post is seen and he gets the recognition. Keep doing what you doing.

I’ve always loved this Mr Price branch in Somerset West, Cape Town, South Africa it’s located outside the busy mall, is usually less crowded, and easy to navigate. That’s why it was so disappointing during my recent visit to experience such unprofessional behaviour from some of the staff.
While browsing with a friend visiting from out of town, one staff member shouted loudly across the store while having a full-blown conversation with another employee. It was incredibly disruptive and unprofessional. I even had to ask her to lower her voice as it made the environment unpleasant.
What really concerns me though, is that whenever you need assistance, it’s nearly impossible to find a staff member willing or available to help. If you’re looking for something specific, you often end up walking around the store searching for someone.
Good customer service makes all the difference — it creates a pleasant shopping experience and encourages customers to return. Excellent service doesn’t just benefit the customer, it benefits the business too. Happy customers equal repeat customers, which equals profit.
Management should seriously invest in better staff training and set clear expectations around both customer interaction and workplace conduct . This store has great potential, but without proper service and professionalism, it risks losing loyal shoppers like myself.

Attendants are very rude
Attendants are very rude. Got into the country and realized I didn’t have bras so went to get some. Tried a bra on top on the shirt I was wearing and dropped it. An attendant shouted back at me asking where the second bra was aluding to the fact I had stolen it. Before that I was trying to take out bras from a basket, same attendant came shouting to stop it stop it because she would rather take it for me. Same things can be said in a nicer tone.
Nightmare!
I bought a couch from Mr Price home online and after receiving it I wanted to return it. A month later I am still trying to get information on whats happening with the return.
Customer services doesn't reply to emails. I have constantly been shut down when chatting to them on whatsapp, the staff on the phone were fairly rude when I phoned them and most recently I was trying to resolve this issue on whatsapp when 19:00 came and they just closed the chat because it went out of hours.
The customer service I've experienced is shockingly bad.

Bought a couch that is the worst quality and so small. We have asked for a refund and they have said that they have to find a store to “buy” the couch. It is literally within the 14 day return, we messaged on the day of delivery and they have ignored us and gone quiet. We have tried the app and they routinely close the chat without even talking to us. I phoned their customer support team and got the rudest person who was so unhelpful and unfriendly. I regret buying from them. I wish I could give a lower rating because they don’t even deserve one star.
WEBSITE IS A DISAPPOINTMENT
Very disappointed because the website is very hard to order from now. Each time I select a certain clothing item and then go to change the size, then all of a sudden, the size section shakes violently and then try to click the size I want - after I do I bag it and it says it is the pre-set size.
