Beth and the team at Mtb Direct are pretty much setting the standars in online shopping. Decent stable website and great prices on quality items.
My order was despatched promptly but due to Australia Post apparently employing people without eyes, my order was sent to Qld not SA. I got an update to say the item was incorrectly labelled (it wasn’t) but when I raised this with Beth she took prompt action and despatched the same item again that day so she didn’t need to redivert the original parcel. Sometimes things go wrong and that doesn’t matter - what matters is how company’s fix the issue. I’d gladly shop with MtbDirect again and have recommended them to others.

The guys and girls at mtn bike direct are one of if not the best shop’s I’ve dealt with. Their range of products, their service and their delivery in my opinion has been second to none.

The crew at MTB Direct are super awesome, and I’ve purchased numerous items over the years. But the thing that has me writing a review is for the amazing assistance Beth provided regarding an inquiry for Giro helmet replacement pads. I knew they stacked Giro but didn’t have the pads and sent an inquiry anyway if they knew how I could get some. Beth’s response was more than I could ever have expected. Even though they couldn’t get the pads (as well as why they no longer do helmet parts), she investigated where I could maybe find some in my local area…mate what she provided I can’t elucidate well enough how good it was, and that from their business perspective wasn’t required, but she did it anyway. MTB Direct most definitely have a customer for life

The team at MTB Direct are the best I have dealt with when it comes to customer service and product delivery. I have purchased from MTB Direct many times in the past year and the product is always delivered very quickly and always in pristine condition. Query response times are very fast (via text or email) and they know their stuff when it comes to MTB products. If there is an MTB item I am after, I will always check MTB Direct first to see if they have it in stock as they are my preferred supplier. Highly recommend.

Excellent service, bought multiple items on a EOFY long weekend, items were shipped the next day and delivered in a few days, i emailed with a question and got feedback via email very quickly. Highly recommended. Will definitely be buying all my items from MTB direct

Charge crazy amount for credit card use do not use

Took almost 2 weeks to receive my order as the package was too large for Au post to deliver.
After many emails and phone calls to Australia post the package was eventually delivered.
To my surprise the two items were packed in a box twice the size WTF
The items were already in boxes they could of been taped together and a label put on them or cut the second box in half and tape up one end
Just lazy uncaring work that caused a lot of extra trouble at my, would have been easier to drive to a local bike shop.
Would I buy from these guy again?
Nope! Give me a LBS anytime over this shit

I bought at complete rear wheel from them , it has a faulty hub . Ive tried contacting them via the email help , the message thing . But get no reply .
There's no phone number either , so I recommend looking at products on there site only and buying elsewhere

A store dedicated to mountain biking, by great people who are good to deal with. They have a lot of items that are hard to find elsewhere.

I have ordered a number of items from MTB Direct and all arrived as expected. Recently a product arrived missing a bolt. I emailed them and the same day they sent a replacement which arrived within 2 days. Mistakes can happen, the way in which they responded was faultless. I will always buy from MTB Direct!

I ordered a wheel and ordered it express post. The wrong wheel arrived and they assured me they would do their best to send me a suitable replacement before my upcoming trip. I knew it was a tough ask so my offer to figure out an alternative (the warehouse being just down the road). Despite their promise of getting it sent out ASAP, it took 2 days of constant emailing to follow up when the item would be despatched. There was no effort made to help aside from what was in processes and everything that I tried to do to meet halfway such as going to pick it up myself was rejected. Now I've spent the last two days stressing out about this and have had to pay an additional $200 to source a wheel on my own. They claim to have a system that works 'faultessly 99+%' of the time but it has failed me 40% of the time (2 out of 5 orders)

I don't use MTB Direct as much as other online stores because I dont align with their values. I'd rather not literally pay a middleman to push a few buttons and run a dropshipping company from their bedroom so that a private equity firm can become wealthier. They aren't the family business they claim to be, they don't support the local community as they say they do on their website. However, necessity brings me to their store. They do have a wide range but absolutely not the lowest prices. Often I find prices better in stores where people actually want to help you
