I cannot recommend Munford
Contracting highly enough. Dan, along with Ade and Ollie, were on site for most of last year working on a large
landscaping project at our property, and the results are absolutely outstanding.
The project included a substantial 300 square metre patio, which was expertly laid, fully drained and prepared for tiling.
The layout was thoughtfully planned, and the level of craftsmanship throughout was exceptional. They also constructed a pathway around the house with Aco drainage expertly installed. A driveway retaining wall running approximately 100 metres around the property expertly and accurately built to our exact instructions. They even laid French Drainage in the area to become grass later on.
Ade and Ollie carried out the majority of the block work, with Ade on site most of the time, always being supervised and supported by Dan. The team's attention to detail, accuracy and consistency were second to none. Dan had previously completed some interior carpentry work for us as well, which was equally of excellent quality.
Beyond the exceptional standards of their work, the whole team were a pleasure to have around-professional, considerate, and always willing to go the extra mile.
They regularly helped my wife and me with deliveries and assisted me when I was at work by moving items to the right place, which was hugely appreciated.

I had two enormous widows for four wood frame smaller ones. Dan and his team had to take he two giant windows out which definitely was a difficult job but they managed it and install the four new windows very professionally and cleaned everything thoroughly afterwards. The end result is beautiful and made a huge difference to the look of my property not only outside but inside too!
I am very pleased with the end result and I thank Dan and his team for a job well done. Highly recommended!

Dan and his team have just completed a porch/boot room roof renovation for us, we couldn't be more delighted with it, it's just a porch after all but the renovation has made it feel more like a part of the main house.

The old roof was polycarbonate and leaking terribly, Dan helped us design a cost-effective solution to replace the roof, given it's a porch/walk-through space, we didn't want to spend a fortune on it.

Dan & his team replaced the leaking roof with a timber insulated structure to house a rubber roof and plastered the ceiling. In changing the roof, Oli was meticulous in removing, repairing and reinstalling our existing Kent peg roof tiles around the new rubber roof (and doing other repairs he came across in the process which we are very grateful for).

Would highly recommend Dan and his team, very skilled craftspeople and it was a pleasure to work with them on our project, looking forward to working together again.

Dan has completed many different projects for us over the years and most recently changed 15 internal doors for us! We now have beautiful solid oak doors throughout our home that were hung with his expertise and professionalism. Thank you Dan!

Dan and his team did a brilliant job on a listed property, restoring old wooden windows that had been neglected for many years. Highly skilled and competent.

Mumford Contracting were employed to sand and treat and existing oak floor and fit new floor and oak skirting boards to match. From quotation to starting the job, communication was great and the job started as promised, on the agreed date.
Dan worked to a very high standard and we were over the moon with the finished floor. Whilst he was with us we asked him to complete some additional jobs; some boxing in, adjust a few doors and a few other jobs, all of which were to the same high standard.
Always arrived on time and worked hard, and cleared up every day, Thanks Dan. Highly recommended and we will have you back for more work for sure.

Absolute professional with excellent results. Dan was a dream to work with on my custom built french doors. His attention to detail, patience and craftsmanship were second to none. Dan spent a week with us to ensure the job was perfect and the results were better than expected. I will 100% be using him again.

We asked Dan to build a bespoke oak room divider and a floor to ceiling media unit that incorporated an existing window to our own design. They also replaced the existing bannister and removed two stud walls. This was all completed within the agreed two week timescale. We are delighted with the results. Dan and Josh were both professional and friendly. The standard of their work is exceptional. We would not hesitate in recommending them and hope that they can do further work for us in the near future.

Outstanding craftsmanship from Daniel and his team. I can’t thank Munford Contracting enough for the brilliant job they did from start to finishing when laying our new wooden flooring, trimming doors, fitting new wooden skirting and oak thresholds.

Professional from start to finish, I was kept well informed about the project, they were on time every morning, charming & polite to our neighbours, clean & tidy and went the extra mile to put my furniture back so I could use the room overnight. Dan and Josh took great pride in their work and made sure the job was done properly - it really shows as their work is faultless.
