I had a disappointing experience with Musafir while applying for a Schengen visa.

Issues:
Service confusion: When I raised concerns, I was told document checking was not part of the service, despite sharing a screenshot of my WhatsApp conversation with their official number confirming the same.

Unwarranted assumptions and contradictory statements: In one email the consultant wrote that my application had been “refused.” In a later message she stated that the embassy had contacted me to verify my travel plans after which the refusal was issued, even though I had never said my visa was refused.

Poor coordination: Communication was split between email and WhatsApp. I was also told that an email I sent on 3 Feb was not in their records and was asked to resend it on 9 Feb.

Incomplete document guidance: The checklist shared did not include some mandatory documents and attachments mentioned in the email were missing.

Lack of document verification: I shared drafts of my cover letter and itinerary for review but they were not properly checked and errors remained in the final version.

Overall, this was a very poor and disorganized experience. I would recommend anyone to think again before availing their service.

Slow to respond, regularly make mistakes, over reliance on emails: just a pretty poor service. Feels like dealing with an average 1990s travel agency.

There’s much more reliable and tech-savvy providers out there.

I used Musafir.com for the first time to arrange a UAE visit visa for my mother. I explained that it was urgent, as she needed to be in the UAE the following week for my daughter’s birth. To my surprise, the visa was issued on the same day; whereas with others it usually takes 3 to 4 days. The agent, Afnan, was exceptional: polite, highly professional, and extremely helpful throughout the process. Thank you, Afnan, and thank you, Musafir!

Best experience. Super fast service, good information and comunication via Whatsapp. Some other agency to get the visa they make you pay in USD so you pay like 3 time the price. Musafir you pay in AED the correct price.

I was initially hesitant to use Musafir but my experience turned out to be very positive. Although I didn’t receive an immediate update after payment, once I reached out, the response was quick and professional. Mr. Joe Sam was my point of contact and kept me regularly updated throughout the process, which was very reassuring. Communication was clear and efficient, and I received my visa shortly after.
