Seems like all there are on here are negative reviews for MuseTrip. I took a risk cause the price was so cheap (3 night stay was $508 vs the 1200+ other sites/the hotel was asking for). I knew it could go awry, as it can with any travel booking intermediary, but a couple days after booking I was surprised that, upon calling the hotel, they confirmed my reservation existed and that it was prepaid. They gave me the confirmation and I looked up the confirmation information online. It was pre-paid in the amount of over $1100, meanwhile I only paid $508. My stay came and went with absolutely no issues, and - while I don't know how the intermediary makes profit like this - I feel like I got a helluva a deal and felt compelled by my good experience to be one of the positive reviews.

We booked Hyatt hotel in San Diego through Muse Trip who, in turn, used Expedia to book the hotel room. The Hyatt agreed to refund our reservation and said the funds have been released and gave us a confirmation number but Muse Trip has decided to keep the funds. I would think twice booking with them for even a lower rate knowing that their customer service is non-existant. Just pay a few extra dollars and book direct knowing that if you need to make any changes to your reservation you are covered.

Was trying to make booking and the site kept spinning for ten minutes then at the end said your booking failed and will refund you the money in seven working days, so this what this site about I think holding people money .

Horrible experience!! Scammers do not use this site !! It left us in the parking lot without a room !! When we got there !!!
We rented a room and our reservation was not available at all when we got there they never heard of this site !!! They offered us a room for another $140. Dollars !! The worst experience ever

This website is a scam! We showed up to a hotel that we booked through MuseTrip in Venice, Italy and the hotel had no record of our booking. We called MuseTrip, and they said they would call the hotel but they never did. Had to book a different hotel on our arrival day, and it was incredibly inconvenient. They never charged us, but it seems like it's a scheme to get credit card info.

They asked me to register and after I did I got a worse rate

They are reserving rooms for a closed hotel in Las Vegas still! The Tropicana is closed but I can get a non-refundable room.

This is a scam!! Don’t fall for it as I did! I wish there were internet police to arrest these scum!

Worst experience ever! They robbed me for 300€ without explanation…incredible!

I was book a hotel’s room with Musetrip and it’s work! In Thailand on long public holidays, if I make direct booking with the hotel it will expensive than in Musetrip. So, I’d make a reservation. With ABF for two too. Good to go.

Genau wie die meisten anderen Buchungswebsiten findet man hier nur falsche Preise und Angebote für Zimmer die schon seit langem ausgebucht sind.
So wurde aus einem 400€ Angebot mal eben ein 600€ Vergnügen.
Zeit sparen, einfach direkt beim Anbieter für 20€ mehr buchen.

I express serious concern that this site is conducting a conspiracy to achieve China's democratization.

Contrary to the claim of this site, I think one China is an important value.

I want that musetrip have to maintain purity as a hotel reservation site, not political site.

Well... where to begin.
Honestly, I had my doubts, like really huge doubts... since the first thing I normally do is look at the reviews of a website towards the end of purchasing everything and on top the company had really bad reviews, 3 to be exact (which I know is not good), but this is where it all began.
I called and received quick response over the phone, and yes, it sounds weird to have a UK number with a lady answering that doesn't speak full English. However, she was really helpful. On top of that the communication through email was quick. This lady confirmed that everything was booked in and also sent me a voucher when I asked for some sort of evidence to prove this.
Next step was to call the hotel and double check (just in case), which that in itself was also a mission because the hotel never answered the phone after about 20+ calls (i kid not) but after successfully coming through, the lady on the other line double confirmed that everything was booked in and that they were waiting for us "with open arms" (a bit much tbh).

This review is to remove the negativity of Musetrip and the bad reviews which seem to be the only thing this company has. Give it a try, you might be surprised to see they offer a legit service.

Either way, I will be editing the star rate and adding on this review if anything happens until I reach the destination of the hotel. Thanks.

I canceled my trip and never got my money back. DONT USE IT

I booked a hotel and They claim to have instant confirmation but they don't.

I Contact the hotel after 24h and they didn't had my confirmation and told me to contact musetrip. I contact their help desk and they told me that i should wait for 1 week to wait for the hotel to confirm. But i already called the hotel. I asked if they could contact them asap and they refused. They wanted me to wait for 1 week maybe to collect the money and then bye bye. Its potential scam fraud. Now i am waiting for refund according their cancel free policy.

The operator was indian or Chinese and couldn't speak proper English but the help desk had British phone. After a search they operate from china
