I found Mariam using My Barristers’ website. Mariam reached out to me and I am so thankful she did. Mariam proved to be a force to be reckoned with. so I am a Barrister with "MyBarrister". I think people need to have total clarity when posting reviews. there are good and bad barristers as there are good and bad clients, frankly. we are bound by a super strict ethical regime so if you do find a 'bad' barrister you should report it to the Bar Council - simple. Harry and his crew do a great job and they cant be held responsible for the individual performance of barristers most of whom they have never met and all of whom are self employed. Speak to your barrister before you engage -personally I always video call them so they can hear and see me and vice versa. you get a real feel for someone when you see them face to face. Fees do differ widely there is no 'set rate' so its on you to scrutinise the fee and make sure you're happy with it and content it reflects the level of work you have asked them to do and their seniority. You should get regular updates, you should be copied in to EVERYthing they send on your behalf and their written work should be of the highest standard. Not all professional relationships end well - sometimes it's the Barristers fault, sometimes the client's fault, sometimes the court and sometimes things just don't work out for the best! Very slow to respond after multiple chases and got back to me from one of their barristers only a couple of days before the hearing to tell me the one I requested and had been promised , was unavailable
Then they asked for a load of documents and info which was requested at too short notice

SCAM BE AWARE !I LOST £1800.I found website online and requested a call back.Harry Pitcher contacted me and connected to David.David suggested Jerome Wilcox would be good for my work .When I paid requested £1800 I was told that would be another £3700 + VAT.I could not afford it and from earlier conversation they both indicated that would not cost much more than that(4-5 H of work).The day after I refused their offer Jerome Wilcox sent me a message that would do it for me for £350+VAT or what I can afford.This was a red flag for me and realised ive been scammed.Jerome Wilcox told me we gonna transfer this amount for the next stage when I need them.In JAnuary I sent email to Jerome Wilcox and did not get reply.In March 25 I sent email again needed some work for the trial to be done but my email was ignored again.When complained to MY BARRISTER I was told they don't go into payment disputes?SO basically if you get a solicitor from mybarrister no one stands behind it if you have any issue or need any help. WELL ORGANIZED SCAM

Please Please do not use this company, they only take your money and introduce you a mute and unprofessional lawyer.
In my case, he ( the lawyer) just sat on the court bench and let me do the talking. Stupid- stupid- stupid

Used Mybarrister and was referred to Regent Street Chambers - Paid the £2700 for a consultation. Barrister David Kinnear has vanished. Dealing with the Clerk David Foreman has not been successful and the chambers have not been interested in resolving.

Harry Pitcher at MyBarrister was kind of helpful on the phone, but has not offered anyway to resolve.
