My Car Import Reviews

Everyone has been very helpful. Lots of advice and guidance while deciding what to do with my vehicle..once decided to import all went very smoothly and quickly. Highly recommended

My car imports done what I couldn’t which was to navigate around HMRC and DVLA and kept me updated as to what was happening very pleased

I had a great experience with MyCarImport from start to finish. The whole process was smooth right from the initial enquiry, and I was kept fully up to date at every stage, which made everything feel straightforward and stress-free.

A special thanks to Steph Charlesworth, who was incredibly helpful throughout and ensured everything moved along seamlessly.

I’d definitely recommend MyCarImport to anyone looking to import a car without the usual hassle.

All went to plan, very efficient and I received my registration number on the day they quoted. Pricey though.

Very professional and good communication. I recommend and will use again if needed.

The experience was guided by a great website along every step of the journey from providing documents to tracking the process, getting work done on the vehicle, MOT and registration. A really smooth experience. Generally good communication although it would have been better to have a single point of contact for the experience to have been perfect. I highly recommend MyCarImprot

Very good service. Excellent comms and very professional.

A quality service; James was communicative, expedient and knowledgeable. I was nervous about using an online intermediary with substantial amounts of money (import duty and fees) but the process was transparent and, I expect, considerably easier than dealing with HMRC, DVLA, etc. directly!

Excellent importer of vehicles (including vintage Vespas!). Good commutation and process for seamless importing and registration. Would recommend to others wishing to bring vehicles into UK.

Exceptional!
I was struggling with the thought of taking my bike Gosforth and having it tested to get UK registration. Hiring a van, taking a day off work, going through the test and not knowing if it would pass. Filling the cvsa form in!
I noticed on the CoC my bike had EU conformity. Contacting My car import and discussing the options guided me to put the task in their hands.
It was all arranged by them, no hassle, no worries, no van hire, no costs for transport and no test failure.
All achieved in a month, V5c, Registration, number plate and CoC returned.
Thanks very much for your expertise and professional approach.

Overall very helpful and efficient. Obviously know the process well. Found the portal slow and frustrating at times

Im very pleased with the team, I don’t do computers anymore, the team took this into consideration and made life for me easy, showed lots of patience

I tried but failed to do it myself so I asked 'My Car Import' to do it for me after a recommendation from 'Motorhome Fun' chat site - I should have approached 'My Car Import' straight away and would have saved a lot of time and stress. From the first phone call with Will, he was patient, not pushy, understood my predicament and was very helpful and knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable dealing with him. He then handed over my issues to his colleague James Lister who was also very easy to deal with. Together we compiled evidence that the authorities agreed with, so I was exempt tax and import duty, something I could not have done by myself. Excellent customer service and highly recommended. I am also going to submit a piece for the 'Motorhome Fun' chat site to let people know of my experience and let the professionals do the work and not try and do it yourself! Many thanks

A very helpful company to deal with. Very easy and prompt registration of my French car.

I received my car from Hong Kong in excellent condition. They have processed all documents and every step be chased in myportal. Very reasonable price👍

Fast and efficient service, very helpful information regarding the transfer of my vehicle to the UK

Entered my details and import my car took if from there. I got new number plate yesterday and that's it. No hassle, thanks.

I have recently imported and registered my Landrover from France. From my initial enquiry their advice and information was helpful and accurate. Whilst I initially thought their fee was steep, I think the speed and hassle free nature of the process was worth it. Their portal worked well for guiding through the stages and it was easy to download the documents that were required. When I needed further help they answered questions by email quickly. I would recommend them based on my experience.

The people is spoke to on the telephone understood exactly what I wanted

Clear communication from start to finish. Very happy to have our car delivered safely.
