I spoke to Liam McMahon and from the start of the call he made me feel relaxed and assured me he would get some protection in place for any assets i had as the bailiffs were at my door. He didn't rush me at anytime when I was taking long to upload or download anything. He put breathing space in place for me and I slept last night for the first time in a long time knowing Im getting on top of all of my debts.
I feel so much better today, thanks again Liam.

Pressure tactics, greedy fees, and conflicting information.
After receiving my proposal from them I informed them I needed a week to review the documents before deciding whether to proceed. I continued to receive numerous phone calls, text messages, and emails, pressuring me in to signing up whilst they claimed it was “urgent” that I did so. This company does not respect your need for time before making such big decisions and will pressure you in to going ahead.
Furthermore, only 13p out of every £1 goes to clearing debt with My Debt Plan taking the rest in “administration fees”.
Finally, during the process a recorded message stated that if you receive any bonuses, commissions, tax rebates, winnings or other windfalls, it is expected that at least 50% of that goes towards your IVA (with My Debt Plan keeping 87% for themselves, not your debt). When I queried this point with my advisor they stated that it was not the case, further eroding any trust I had.
Would not recommend.
Edit: I am also having to complain to relevant bodies for breach of GDPR and PECR Direct Marketing rules after my requests for no further contact were ignored.

We take concerns around communication, transparency, and client experience very seriously. It is never our intention to make anyone feel pressured, and clients should always feel they have the time and space needed to make informed decisions.
Having taken a look into your file, we can see that you did inform us that you wished to take time to consider your options. Unfortunately, this was not acknowledged as it should have been, and as a result, automated follow-up messages continued. We recognise that this would have been frustrating and does not reflect the level of service we aim to provide.
We also note your concerns regarding contact preferences. While some of the messages were automated and sent outside of working hours, this should have been managed more effectively once you had made your position clear. We are reviewing this internally to ensure improvements are made.
In relation to fees, we work on a fixed fee model, which is standard across the industry and encouraged by both regulators and creditors to ensure IVA fees remain clear and consistent. We’re sorry if any aspect of this was unclear or caused concern.
We also take data protection and marketing preferences seriously, and any concerns raised in this regard will be investigated in line with our obligations.
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and would welcome the opportunity to discuss this further and resolve any outstanding concerns.

Wow amazing team
Wow, what a company! And what an amazing people that work there, want to thank Lucy who assured me I made the right decision in getting help and Chris for being so supportive and explaining everything and going throught my documents with care making sure I had everything listed correctly without judgment and all other other people I spoke to aswell who never judged and came up with a plan for me, has lifted a huge anxiety fear and sleepless nights, I now can continue with my basic life and be there for children without having stress behind me back, I have recommended my friends!
