Avoid the individuals known Vanessa laithwaite or Vanessa Smith and Callum Smith or Calum laithwaite are professional fraudsters, they create fake companies and take people's money without providing any services, they stole one thousand pounds from me using a company called buzz work and have been reported to action fraud by many many people please avoid them

If I could put 0 as a star I would. These two take the mick. Do not trust, do not engage, do not waste your time. SCAMMERS

I was offered a position as the Marketing Director at Buzzwork Digital in Wetherby, under the recruitment of Callum Smith and Vanessa Laithewaite in June. The application process was unusual, as they did not request any application details or provide information regarding wage procedures after accepting the job offer. This initial discrepancy raised a red flag.

Upon joining the company, located at 5 Cromwell Park, York Road, York Road Industrial Estate, Wetherby, West Yorkshire, United Kingdom, LS22 7SU, I observed several alarming signs from the very first day. They maintained over 10 bank accounts and frequently transferred funds between them. Moreover, they managed to accumulate over £120,000 from clients within a month, promising marketing services that were never delivered. The lack of structure, processes, and a genuine commitment to fulfilling their obligations further confirmed my concerns.

On my second day at work, I experienced a strong sense of unease, which was later reinforced when I received a Facebook message from a former client who had fallen victim to their fraudulent activities.

This revelation prompted my decision to resign on the morning of the third day. Unfortunately, when I informed Callum of my resignation, his reaction revealed his true character, as he did not take the news well. Vanessa assured me that I would be compensated for the two days worked at the end of the month. However, I have yet to receive any payment, and my attempts to communicate with them have been blocked.

I got such a lucky escape resigning after day 2, i can imagine the trap i would have fallen into and most likely not get a salary

10.10.2022 took my money and i have heard nothing since phone number not working emails bounce back

Told lie after lie, moved office's staff leaving ,waiting for info you name it they made it up.Then emails rebound no answer to calls answerphone only, Name change's

They use facebook and other social media to draw you in, have created websites to match

i have contact the Police Fraud department also.

Trading standards also notified as well

These two are scammers . Don't believe a word they say

Spoke at length with Calum Smith and Vanessa Laithwaite (as "Night Owl") over a couple of years.... I paid fees.
My follow up enquiries were met with months and months of "just be patient" and then their phone numbers went dead.... they've moved from Malton and no longer responding.... and have a new trading name changing again from "mymortgagerefund" to "Therefundcompany" and now supposedly based in The Pinnacle, Albion Street, Leeds. LS1 5AA (which is a Regus "rent a desk" office)
They appear to take the money and run....

I have contact history from 2020 to 2022.... nothing for 4 months!

This is a complete scam with very fake reviews, they are a reincarnation of Night Owl Capital which used to work out of Malton, N Yorks. Do not give them a penny you will never see it again!

I have a current interest only mortgage claim and I have got to say that the service they have provided so far is first class as they have kept me up to date and make me valued as a customer and has been a complete stress free service and I would highly recommend them should anyone have an enquiry about a mortgage

...so another claims management company sets up with suspected fake reviews....they called me today asking me to give hem info and this will include ID and proof of address (right!)

You don't get 'over charged' on your mortgage..you either take a deal or sit on variable rate, neither is an 'overcharged' situation. If you want a better rate than all you have to do is speak to the lender or a broker and its sorted...especially with current rates so low!

Claims of £30000 or £47000 are literally unbelievable in my opinion, I'd love to see the evidence as £47000 is a lot of over charged interest no matter how many years it might be for (or its a very large mortgage).

Can't quite believe it. I seen an ad online somewhere mentioning about mortgage payments being miss calculated. I'd never even heard of this but thought I'd try.

Turns out, 15 years of overpaying and on top I was miss sold in the first place. I got back over £47,000!!

Literally my life changed in one afternoon filling in some silly form. I'm also angry at having things miss calculated in the first place. 2 neighbours are going through the process now after heraring my news. Couldn't be happier.

The interest on my mortgage had been wrongly calculated for the last 18years thanks for all your help in recovering my money
