From the first initial contact with Morgan over the phone, to the installation carried out by Max, Sam, Jake, to dealing with the installation manager Joe, the whole process has been fabulous.
All the chaps have been consummate professionals, and I really couldn’t fault the in any way.
Whilst Naked Solar may not be the cheapest ( though still very competitive), they cannot be beaten on professionalism, service, attitude and conduct. They are well established in the solar game for a number of years, and going on my experience, you can see why!

Naked Solar are exceptional is what they do, from the first email and phone calls to the install and demo on how the system works. Thanks Morgan, Zach, Cavan, Rhys, Neil and Ben, we will be sure to recommend you guys in the future.

I contacted Naked Solar because I was worried about the quality and safety of a solar and battery installation carried out at my home by a national company. I had decided to use this company ( ESE Solar ) because their quotes were good and their reviews on TrustPilot were largely positive in their early days. But there were problems from the very first day of installation. Naked Solar have now carried out an assessment of the old installation and have removed all aspects of it that were unsafe. They have now installed a high quality system that is working well. In a nutshell here is what was wrong with the installation by ESE Solar:
1. They advised placing the battery storage in the loft which is a fire risk
2. They used cheap Chinese batteries and inverter
3. They did a poor job of installing the solar panels- drilling through the frames to attach bird proof netting which could potentially have voided the warranty on the panels
4. They installed too many panels on one string which overloaded the inverter which had to be replaced within a month
5. They then joined some panels from the string which was too big to a string on a different aspect on the roof, placing Tigo Optimisers on all these panels. ( these optimisers I have now discovered were unnecessary)
6. Four of these optimisers burnt out soon after installation so that the power generated by that string was greatly reduced
7. They did return and replace the four failed optimisers but didn’t investigate why that had happened, so after a couple of weeks they burnt out again
8. When I informed them that the same problem had reoccurred they said there was nothing wrong and closed the case I had raised
9. It is impossible now to speak to ESE Solar about any technical issue. Customers can only raise a ticket online. ESE are very poor at responding.
10. The electrician did not place any of the required safety labelling on any of the equipment
11. The electrical work did not meet regulatory standards and the cable work was poor
12. The consumer unit was left with open circuits
13. ESE sub contracts to other companies to do the installation. This means the quality of installation can vary. When I asked why the original electrician couldn’t return to fix the problems I was told verbally that ESE no longer used him because his work was substandard!

What a difference it has been dealing with a reputable local company! Right from early days of talking through the issues by phone and arranging a site visit through to the actual days of removing dangerous aspects of ESE’s work and doing a proper job of installation I have found every member of Naked Solar’s team to be friendly and professional. Even the scaffolders were nice people! I decided to keep my existing panels as they were still functional and fortunately the roof mounting system didn’t need replacing. The inverter and batteries were removed from the loft and I now have a Tesla Powerwall 3 which is sited externally. Job done. All I need now is some sunshine!

Naked Solar are not the cheapest supplier but it is the level of service that makes the extra worth paying for.
Starting with the initial sales contact, they listened to what what I wanted, made their recommendations during the design phase and delivered a superb system. Essentially I only wanted the minimum of Chinese components in the system and that's what they gave me.
Installation was delayed over Christmas (no suprise there) and a day or so in January for component delivery. I was kept informed, so it was not an issue.
The installers were professional, friendly and competent. There was a WiFi issue that made connection to the system an issue but Naked Solar installed a WiFi booster ar no additional charge.
Support has been spot on. Any questions asked were responded to knowledgably and promptly.
I strongly recommend Naked Solar.

Naked Solar were great to deal with from start to finish. Jake took the time to understand what we were wanting to get out of battery storage and once we'd decided to go ahead the installation team were great. They didn't leave until they'd thoroughly explained the system to us so we understood how it all worked. A great experience all round.

From talking through our solar solution the team have been fantastic. They have helped with everything and on the week of our install we experienced our first power cut. It felt so strange being the only house with lights on in the street. Thank you so much you have been amazing guys, and we are so grateful.

Brilliant from start to completion. We were presented with options following discussions with Zach and these were based on what we wanted not what Naked Solar wanted to sell.

The site visit ironed out the exact details for the installation and these were spot on when it came to the installation itself which was drama free. Rhys, who did the majority of the electrical work, was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and TIDY.

We've got a great product from a great team of people and I'm more than happy to recommend them to anyone (in fact already have !)

The company were great from start to finish. Really good advice changing options as I discovered what was available at what cost. The design was explained to me as the engineer came to the house and all the installation team, including the scaffolders, couldn’t have been more helpful.

I am really please with my 7.5 kW solar array and two Powerwall3 batteries. The whole experience was a pleasant one from dealing with Holly in the office on the phone and email to Matt for the site survey and the two solar installers and two electricians who fitted the system and left the location spotless after they left. Everyone was very professional and always happy to answer my multiple questions. Now looking forward to generating and storing some power in case or power outages.

Excellent advice, and support throughout, which allowed us to consider options, establish appropriate scheme, and then deal with planning issues, followed by advice about works by others, with an efficient and very tidy installation period.

I am delighted with my solar and battery installation.
They were always there to answer my questions and would call back if they needed to check something.
The quality of the work is outstanding.
What stood out for me is that they designed the system I needed and did not try to upsell anything.
It is perfectly designed.

Had a couple of quotes & decided to use Naked Solar , liked everything about them from Dominik the sales guy to the choice that they gave me . There quality of work has bee outstanding and there staff are a pleasure to deal with . I liked the quote , I could see everything that I was being charged for , work was completed ahead of time and I couldn't be happier
