I missed a monthly payment, due to my cat being sick and the vet fees were horrendous. After cancelling the Direct Debit, I had a call from National Friendly, who were absolutely marvelous. They gave me three options to repay the monthly figure and, as I was upset about my sick cat, they were so understanding and phoned me back a second time to take the payment. I couldn't have received better treatment, they are great!

I had been looking for a funeral plan for a while but thought the prices being asked were extortionate and So when I was called about the National Friendly policies I was pleasently surprised. I opted for the Over 50s Life Cover which fits the bill perfectly, it does what I want with relatively small monthly payments. The Lady who called me, Kate, I think, was, while very persuasive was also very professional and friendly, explaining the plan very well.

I had a really positive experience with National Friendly during what was a very stressful time for me. I had to make a claim due to a shoulder condition that meant I was unable to work, and the support I received throughout the process was genuinely reassuring.
The claims process was straightforward, and the team were clear about what they needed from me at each stage. Payments were made as explained, and I always felt kept in the loop. I also appreciated how understanding and respectful they were when my situation changed and I needed to provide further medical evidence.
A special thank you to Rachael in the claims team, who was helpful and professional throughout.
Overall, I felt supported at a time when I really needed it, and I’m grateful to have had this policy in place.
