Misleading website which is just a front for picking up business. Not impartial in any way, and no link to any kind of national pensions advisory group. Avoid!!

Providing one start as it is not possible to give no stars. I believe how this organization describes, positions and presents itself is deliberately misleading. It is NOT a helpline or run (as it implies) as a national independent advisory service about pensions.

Misleading website, this is not a government connected company/service despite the "National Pension Helpline" name.

In terms of contacting them, it's an absolute waste of time. There is some useful information on their website, but they loudly advertise that they will give you free advice, and get back to you in 24 hours. They have 2 forms to fill out, which are supposed to get them to write or call you back in 24 hours. They provide an email address and a phone number. I filled out both forms more than once, sent two emails, and got no replies to anything over about 3 weeks. I eventually rang them. When you ring the number, you get an automatic voice to say they aren't manning their phone lines, and to fill out their forms!! It's ridiculous, especially if you want important clarification now. 2 months later, nobody ever got back to me. You can avoid them or try them and them complain to them, but don't expect them to ever respond. They call themselves 'Ireland's leading provider of pension information and support'!!!
