Mouldy fruit and veg, rip off

Just had to refuse my order. Box of strawberries arrived with white fluffy mould on, wilted spinach, green lettuce turning brown. Absolutely awful.

£200 gone missing

Ordered over £200 of produce, dairy, and charcuterie. They use APC to deliver, who are lying and indicating they have delivered to me personally (quoting name on the label) and I have not received anything. They don't ship or deliver on weekends so the food will be spoilt. Called courier, no response, called Natoora, only work until 5 pm and haven't tracked down the package. Seriously disappointing. In addition, they were out of stock on several items; not critical compared to delivery of none. Expensive and frustrating (no food for the weekend) experience. Will not use again.

Natoora = Wonderful Produce

We have been ordering from Natoora since early Spring and our weekly deliveries have been a bright spot during this very stressful time. We have loved eating what’s in season – the summer tomatoes and strawberries smelled gorgeous (I don’t think I’ve ever had strawberries that smelled and tasted like strawberries before this); the corn was unbelievable. Natoora even made us fanatical about summer squash when it was in season. The Ricotta and Burrata from Maple Farms are also just divine. The Shokupan Milkbread from ACQ and the Baker’s Butter have been ordered weekly; we can’t live without them. We feel that way about the smallhold oyster mushrooms too. We’ve experimented with vegetables and fruits we’d never heard of (Agretti anyone?) just based on how much we have loved everything we have ordered from Natoora. When there have been missed items, Natoora was quick to respond to our email and credit our account. In this time when we are all homebound and cooking so much, Natoora has really been a lifesaver.

Fresh produce, delay in turnaround

Natoora have very fresh produce, and it's worth paying extra for. You do have to however order three days or so before you need the food which isn't always convenient. Sometimes I need smaller quantities than you can choose in the app. Overall, highly recommend

thank goodness for Natoora! Not only do i get interesting veg, BUT, i also know that i am also helping the regenerative farming effort by buying from these guys. Full marks for that, and for great real tasting produce!!

Worth every penny

Natoora really saved us at the beginning of lockdown, and I won't stop using them now. Their produce is second to none, each and every thing I ordered tasting better than in any supermarket, and of course avoiding the dreaded plastic. It is more expensive, but it's worth it...salad that didn't just last for a day or two, but almost a whole week. Different ball game. Highly recommend.

New app has made pricing easier

My friends and I used them a few times over the last few months. At first the pricing was a bit confusing but the newer version of the app has made it much easier to get an estimate of what it will cost. Such a wide variety of ingredients and things that I wouldn’t have been able to get from Waitrose or other supermarkets. Expensive but worth it.

I wish more companies would follow Natoora’s example! Compostable packaging, perfect produce and a superb delivery service. The taste was incomparable. I will most definitely be using them regularly

Incredible quality

Absolutely phenomenal ingredients, and so exciting that you can finally get them delivered. It’s not cheap, but totally worth it for the quality alone. Will definitely use again.

You don't get what you pay for

I bought 400 grams of Natoora rhubarb. Their products are very expensive, but this was a treat. The product felt very light for 400 grams so I decided to weigh it. It weighed only 256 grams, meaning that I was only getting a little over half of what I paid for. I contacted Natoora for an explanation, but they never bothered to reply. Luckily I had ordered from Ocado, who offered me a refund. I definitely won't be buying Natoora products.

Think carefully before using this company!

The app. is not fit for purpose. After about 10 days of trying to get it to function I was about to give up. Suddenly the order I had placed was going to be delivered 3 days after it was ordered, but I had been told that, but the app. was still not working. The order was NOT delivered due to a delivery problem. It would be delivered the next day I was told by a contact at the company. The order comprised 21 items. Three were not available and one was a substitute. The order arrived the next day. The basil was wilted, the watercress was unusable the other items were less than superb quality, but 10 of the items were just not delivered. The delivery looked as though it had been in the van overnight. Both the contacts at the company were charming and apologised, firstly to forgo the delivery charge and the next day to delete the total value of the order. It is a great shame as the company claim superb quality. Unfortunately my experience with the app, the delivery and the quality of the produce and availability was way below any expectation. The company did offer a delivery, of uncertain goods availability in two days time. Not great customer service either.

Low service and quality.

I was excited to order from Natoora, and waited three weeks for my time slot. When it came, 4 items were missing. The produce was sub-par compared to what I buy at fairway or from foodkick. I figured, corona-virus. High demand. It’s a mistake. I called them and was met with arrogance and no resolution. Expensive, poor service, low quality. Clearly not sending the stuff they would have sent to 11 Madison or their high end retailers. Save yourself the trouble and money.

We do work with small growers, with limited availability and sometimes we are unable to deliver items. If you were charged for the item, we apologise, and would always usually refund. super scammy, they operate with a live basket meaning they make you pay even before checking out.

Hello Mlle Deborah Horn, When we first opened our chef-only wholesale app up to the public at the start of the COVID-19 crisis we made it clear to customers that it was an app designed for professional use and operated with a live basket. We make it clear in the FAQ's of how to use the app and have daily notification reminding them too. Our priority was getting food to the people who needed it as quickly as possible so as a company adapting our app fast was key. We're happy to say that this week we are updating to a new version of the app that has a check-out button. We will continue to make more changes as the app focuses on home delivery customers. Also, to clarify, payment is only taken once an order is delivered. By no means are we looking to scam our customers.
