I placed this order on 01/27/2026 and I still haven't received my whole order. I have been told numerous times that I will be receiving, multiple tracking numbers. I requested the order to be resent overnight which the request was ignored. Placed the order with Newtown spares and received an item from Ebay. I could have order that myself. Will never order again

Ryan was extremely professional and proactive—he reached out multiple times by email and phone to confirm my laptop’s exact make and model, verify SSD compatibility, and clearly explain that the unit was refurbished, fully tested, and covered by warranty before shipping. His communication was top-notch and gave me complete confidence that I was ordering the correct part. Everything arrived exactly as expected, and the service exceeded my expectations. I would absolutely buy from them again and highly recommend both the company and Ryan.

I ordered a motherboard to replace the one in my Dell mini desktop that had gone bad. It arrived a bit earlier than expected and works fine. The ordering process was easy.

Sales representative Kevin was very helpful and knowledgeable.

They had some tapes I have had trouble finding and got them out quickly. They kept us up to date on shipping status and even called to ask how the product was. Will definitely use this company again.

Purchased an HP printer, paid over $900 for a "refurbished" printer. It was delivered damaged, parts missing and not in working condition. I received a used printer that wasn't even tested before it was shipped. Contacted customer service and spoke to Daniel. They company issued a refund and apologized profusely. I feel the printer should have been tested prior to shipping and for that reason I can not give them 5 stars.

Ryan was great to work with. Great communication and an all around good guy that you'd want to have a beer with. He was very patient and provided answers while I flip flopped on shipping a couple times. Items were as described ahead of time. Based on my experience, I will be definitely coming back for future hardware needs and encourage those reading this to do the same.

My ordering process took 5 days which by the end of it I never even saw a product they actually had! Even though clearly “in stock” on the website. I was contacted after my initial order that my product was no longer available after I had ordered it. (The listing was “in stock” for several days during this interaction.) The “account manager” gave me options for products for double the price of my original order! I declined the offer and asked for options in my price point. The team was extremely slow to respond (next day replies) and never actually gave me an alternative option even after I kept sending them suitable replacements off their website. Every. Single. Option I asked for was not available while clearly “in stock” on the NewTownSpares site. The various team members kept saying that the product in question was in high demand so I settled for letting them send me absolutely anything in my price point. I was informed a replacement was found and in the next email was told it had been sold!?!?!? This was 5 days after the initial purchase with them holding my money hostage!

High Quality and Wide Range
Stellar Customer Service

I had never heard of Newtown Spares before, and so I was skeptical in ordering. Furthermore, there are a couple of poor reviews, and that certainly never helps to alleviate anxiety.

HOWEVER, I ordered a Hard Drive for less than what everyone else had been asking, and it arrived quickly and was packaged well. Although refurbished, it looks Brand New, and works as expected.

In addition, because of my initial reservations, I actually called in order to both confirm my order, and once again to confirm shipment. Both times, I reached a LIVE, friendly, helpful professional either immediately, or received a return phone call within minutes of trying.

In summary, I believe I have found an up and coming computer hardware provider that is working diligently to make loyal customers, and perhaps simultaneously work out some “new kid on the block” kinks.

I am taking the time to publish all this, because as an online retailer myself, I too know the challenges of getting up and going, overcoming trust issues, and overcoming negative reviews that perhaps were the result of an honest mistake and an overzealous customer.

My recommendation, BUY WITH CONFIDENCE as they seem genuinely interested in pleasing customers and building a reliable company into the future.
