I’ve been with the agency for almost two years. In that time I had trouble getting any response from them at all. My video was uploaded by them and not put on the website, the said they didn’t receive my bio etc . I kept telling them and forwarding what I’d sent . Then despite several emails etc from me , I tried to phone the contact numbers , no joy .
Then I got an email saying my stuff must have gone to their junk mail. No apologies or anything.
I’ve not heard from them despite again trying to contact them to say I do not wish to continue with my contract with them. Nothing, I have two payments left until the end of March 2026.
If you read this Next Steps please contact me . I’ve never had a sniff of work , despite being experienced in the field .

I've been part of Next Step Agency for seven months since discovering them on Instagram. The interview was quite formal, catching me off guard with a few unexpected questions. They promptly created and launched my profile. In this time, I've received over 12 casting opportunities and even secured a supporting role in a Netflix series. Sally, my agent, has been incredibly dedicated, ensuring I advance swiftly in the industry.

I hate to write reviews like this but if I'm honest I'm very disappointed with next step. I had a long formal interview with David and Sally and since June I've had zero bookings or castings. Nothing at all. I appreciate I'm a more mature chap but I was told this would be a positive with my distance swimming. I had hoped for some photography work but alas nothing at all. I feel quite aggrieved that I spent this money and not one single opportunity so far. Maybe some models are more lucky than others but my own experience has been poor. I really wanted to make this a good source of income but currently now feel very dispondant if I'm honest.

They were very efficient at getting my profile built and live. Since being with them had over 12 castings and managed to land a SA role on a Netflix’s show. Sally my agent has worked extremely hard to help me progress quickly in the industry.

Great experience so far with this company! The engagement I’ve had since being with them has benefitted me so much these few months, and They’ve helped me every step of the way. I highly recommend working with them.

They are very good at seeming legit. Had a interview on the phone, got sent a contract and payment form. Paid the money. Sent my deliverables and photos to be set up, they didnt download them for 7days. Tried to call on the landline and mobile. My phone number had been blocked. Got a refund from my bank. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE IT IS A SCAMD

Worst experience of my life!

I was new and inexperienced and did a test shoot, they recommended this company and said that it is a really great company.

I got in touch with them and everything was good, my profile was going to be live soon enough but suddenly, it was taking too long and longer than usual for it to go live, I kept checking their website and every time I searched Next Step Agency, and clicked on the website, it would not appear, as if it did not exist.

I am not sure if it was a glitch or something else so I was afraid of being scammed when I had paid them already so I asked for a refund from my bank.

For weeks, no contact and I did not hear from them via emails or text messages or even call and their website was down as well, but as soon as I initiated a refund, the manager called me.

He said it was my fault and started shouting at me and blamed me that I did not put in the effort or that it is my job to complete the profile and keep them informed etc.

I did not appreciate him getting onto to me when I tried to contact them and was scared of losing my money.

I even screamed at him and he was swearing at me by now and passing racist comments.

Also, he sent a racist text message and threatened me, and he did all of this because of £149.

I would not have minded to give back the fee that I owed but the guy was so rude and unreasonable that even I lost control.

It may be a good company but this was my honest experience.

Well, I had forgotten all about this until I came across this company again and thought I should write about the disgusting service I experienced.

*It is not a false review, I still have the emails from my agent and text messages from the manager at Next Step.

Not long signed with NextStep, I am new to this industry. No casting as of yet but very hopeful for the future. David Cole, very understanding as I had some personal issues at the time. Couldn’t have asked to be signed by a better company than NextStep, Truly grateful and excited

I’m happy to say that I’ve had a lot of castings and I look forward to more opportunities! Great company to work with.

The service was provided on a very high level.

I have been receiving castings via email which has been great. I've not yet participated in any jobs but I am hoping too soon. I do need plenty of notice so I can book time off work. Otherwise very excited. Cathy 😊

I'm fairly new to the Industy but Next-Step have been very supporting, I love the profile of myself they did allong with the great photos, very quick to answer any queries you may have and also quick with the jobs board.

Great company to work with, fast, efficient & love the various profiles they have created for me as well! If I have any queries & send an email- I get a response the same day! I am a new model in the industry (freelance), have been signed by 4 agencies now, however Next Steps have been the only agency that have sent potential work/jobs my way!! It was only location & not fully fitting the brief…however, I am 💯 sure that when I do get my first job, it more likely will come from Next Steps!
