Successful collection and delivery, comms needs to be better

Collection and delivery of bathroom return ultimately completed successfully and for a competitive price. However, communication during the delivery period could be improved. No response to WhatsApp / emails for several days and partner Website being down.
Understand there were operational issues but proactive communication would have completely avoided significant stress and concern. Would use again if communication improves.

I am sorry that you feel the service has not met your expectations.
We do clearly state on our website that it can take up to 10 working days to complete your order.
Over the last few days, we have been affected by multiple issues caused by a high number of accidents and vehicles fires as a result of the heat and general conditions. At our warehouse location, there have been several vehicles fires, caused by vapes being left in direct sunlight. This has meant that on 3 occasions, we have been unable to access our site due to the roads being blocked. Your items are safe! Our building has not been affected but due to the close vicinity of the fires, we have been left without access for prolonged periods which has exacerbated the delays.
We are currently operating around 72 hours behind schedule and I, as the person you communicate with, have been on the road for the last few days trying to get caught up.
Your delivery is scheduled for Monday the 21st and you will receive a text and email to confirm this as well as photographic POD.
I apologize for any inconvenience but we are doing all we can.
I did call you via WhatsApp today as soon as I was able.
