Nic communicated well through out the process. I liked seeing the repair happen live. I got the home pod back and the repair is successful and it sounds like new again! I would use Nics service again 100% and I’ve recommended him to family

I bought one of the first generation HomePod's many years ago.
It recently lost power and instead of throwing away I wanted to fix.
I googled HomePod repair and came across
Nic's fix, at first I was put off I having to box and ship the HomePod out of state. However, he has his service dialed in! Nothing could've been simpler. He had everything fixed and returned I believe in 2 to 3 weeks. Absolutely fantastic prices, in my opinion he could charge more!
Instead of the traditional I'll throw away and replace I used easy to use Nick's process and can't be more pleased with the outcome. I would highly recommend in service!

I have two original HomePods from 2018, and one of them failed last month. I sent it to Nic’s Repair, and he fixed it perfectly. I was even able to watch the repair on YouTube. The work was excellent, the price was fair, and shipping was included. Highly recommended.

Same story as others, a sad beginning with 2 original (refurbished) HomePods both refusing to power up, searching online, finding Nic, communications, ship it to him, watch the live youtube fix session, get the Hp's back, power up, re-connect to the network, MUSIC!

Nic repaired my first-gen HomePod that had died a couple of years ago after a software update. Essentially, it would not boot. I was hopeful mine would be a simple software fix but the unit needed more. Nic replaced the logic board which cured the HomePod.

It is fun and fascinating watching Nic fix HomePods on YouTube. He is amazingly skilled. Taking apart and re-assembling a HomePod is no small feat. Nic makes the whole procedure look easy. And, he's fast! With Nic's Fix you can rest assured that'll you get a quality repair at a very fair price. Who wants to throw away a HomePod? They sound rich and wonderful. Fantastic repair service! I found Nic's Fix by an online search for HomePod repair after my OG pod bricked.

Everything went smoothly! I submitted the repair request online and quickly received a text with my mailing label. I received updates via text and within a few days it was fixed! I paid using Venmo, and my pod was on its way home. The diode was replaced and I added optional maintenance. No problems, no delays, no hidden charges.

It's now sitting on my countertop happily playing classic 80s :) Terrific price and a usable device saved from the landfill. I can't recommend this service highly enough!

Just received my 3rd fixed OG HomePod from Nic. He is a fabulous person with a genuine care for his customers. The first two repairs were for a common 'no power' issue and another that I dropped (and thought I killed). Two weeks ago a 3rd HomePod developed "death farts" and kept rebooting. Not only is Nic extremely skilled in his work, he also goes the extra mile to head off any future problems (looking for potentially problematic caps, etc) before shipping it back in perfect condition.

Nic's business is so organized and simple to engage with. My completing the web form resulted in Nic sending me email with the shipping label. He contacted me upon receipt and set my expectations of his scheduled repair. I clicked on the link of his live feed and saw my name in the queue. He communicated the he was done and ready to ship. With my payment completed via Venmo, he emailed me again with the tracking number. Every communication with him is cheery. He did upgrades that extend the life of the HomePod. I trust him implicitly. I'm so glad that he's in this business. I am shipping him my other working HomePod so that the pair will have a long life together.

Nic should expand and repair more things or run a bigger business. Every single thing about getting my HomePod repaired was handled with the professionalism, speed, courtesy and empathy we all wish we had from every businesses.

It's wonderful that he took a curiosity about HomePods and turned it into an efficient, well-priced business that preserves value and keeps fixable electronics out of the waste stream.

Was disappointed that apple said it was absolutely unfixable and that they'd do me the favor of taking it off my hands and recycling it.

Found out about Nic's Fix from the /r/HomePod subreddit after one of my six-year-old OG HomePods suddenly wouldn't turn on anymore in December. Instead of throwing it into the e-waste pile and grabbing a new one for $300+, I figured I'd try to have it fixed for $70.

So I gave Nic's Fix a shot. Submitted the online Google form and was in email contact within a day. Printed out the shipping form he gave me and shipped that bad boy off across the country shortly thereafter.

Nic was friendly, professional, and quick -- especially for the end of December. I was watching my HomePod being diagnosed and repaired live on stream less than two days after he received it (which was surprisingly fun to see). I paid with Venmo and he sent it right back. He even accommodated my shipping needs when end-of-year travel complicated the timing of everything.

Overall an easy process and well-priced. And at the end of the day, I came home from the holidays with my beloved old HomePod waiting under the tree, courtesy of Saint Nic. Now it works again as well as it ever did, and I don't have to worry about a faulty diode randomly burning out anymore. Talk about a Christmas miracle.

Everything on the website happens just the way you hope it would, .. easy to sent in the homepod , ability to see your repair happen in real time, fast turnaround time and return, quality repair, and communication with Nic through the process

Great experience! Excellent communication. Very reasonable repair cost and shipping and most importantly the Home Pod works perfectly now! It would not even turn on. Totally recommend Nic’s service.

Nic says exactly what he will do and does it.
Obviously knows his way around a HomePod and anything else with an IC, component, etc.
The video is great. Amazing to watch an expert at work.

Recently my white HomePod has failed to boot up after it stopped responding. I took it to an Apple Store and they said they offer no repair service, best thing is to buy a new one. I look on Yelp to see if there is a local repair shop but couldn't find anyone. I searched YouTube to see if it's something I can do myself, then I stumbled upon Nic's channel. After watching it I was impressed and also realized that it's beyond my skill, so I contacted Nic for repair. He gave me pretty clear instructions on how to ship it to his place and I did so.

What surprised me is that he sent me a link to his YT livestream while he was repairing my HomePod! Mind blown. I watched it and saw it was repaired. I received it back pretty quickly and it was working like a charm. I couldn't recommend it enough to anyone who has a non-working HomePod.
