They basically just stole my Money. I paid for one week and just a few hours later they just suspended my account without even telling me why.
What a shady application used primarily by a single lonely men who have failed socially and have no other opportunity to meet with people but by being low and ratchet. Their true intention is not to make friends. It is embarrassing and difficult to actually meet either locals or anyone really and make actual friends.
I’m on my first europe trip and I met so many people on Nomadtable in France and Spain. Very generous free tier too - thank you team!

Tried this app for solo travel / relocating to a new city, and it did not deliver what it promised. The user base is heavily male and a lot of them are clearly just here to hook up, not to genuinely connect or make friends - the vibe and manners leave a lot to be desired.
There's also no mandatory identity verification, so you have no real way to set your hangouts for verified profiles only. On top of that, basic access requires an expensive annual subscription with no monthly option.
And in smaller cities there's barely any activity - the whole concept only works if there's a real, active community where you are, and outside the big hubs it just doesn’t exist.
Good concept, poor execution. Hoping for something built with more care around safety and community.

We do want to clarify a couple of points. Nomadtable is a freemium app, and most core features can be used without a paid subscription (over 90% of our users are free users). Identity verification is currently optional rather than mandatory, and we continue to invest in safety tools, moderation, and controls around who can interact with you and join your plans.
Community activity can also vary significantly by location, but he have over 2 million active uesrs. We’re actively working to grow stronger local communities outside our largest hubs, and we appreciate the feedback on where the experience still needs improvement.

I reported a serious safety incident involving another user, providing detailed evidence including messages, call logs, and screenshots.
What concerns me even more is that the app appears to rely on users discovering the “Block Men From Seeing You” feature only after they’ve already experienced a problem and reported someone. In my opinion, a safety feature like this should be clearly promoted to all users from the start, not hidden until after an incident has occurred. If this feature is intended to help protect users, it should be proactively advertised and encouraged so people can make use of it before something goes wrong.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend the platform. I hope NomadTable improves its approach to user safety by taking reports seriously and making existing safety tools far more visible to every member.

We take safety reports seriously, and while we cannot identify your specific report from a public review or disclose details about another user’s account for privacy reasons, reports involving safety concerns are reviewed promptly and appropriate action is taken based on the information available.
We also want to clarify that Nomadtable does not currently have a universal “Block Men From Seeing You” feature. Users can control which genders are able to message them and which genders can join plans they create, and they can block individual users at any time.
That said, we appreciate your feedback that these controls should be more visible and clearly explained before a negative experience occurs. We are reviewing how these safety and privacy options are presented during onboarding and within the app so that users can find and understand them more easily.

I will delete it. I’ve sent five emails about some issues I’m having and they never replied. I wonder why they have a customer service email if they don’t bother to reply or fix the problems with their app.

Not recommended. I used it, it is not legit. You will see most of the people from one race not to mention which one. No one speaks or network this app is completely waste of time.

My account is suspended for not a good reason, after I get contacted with the support they said I was able to use it and yet I can't. They have send me what I could have done wrong but it wasn't all true so that is big mistake by them. A lot of fake profiles, they should take a look on that and weird people
Everything was great when you create hangouts and events; also supporting the digital nomads in your city with tips and tricks about the city and meeting them. However...
Without any infringement to the guidelines and as an active user of this app I have been suspended surprisingly, without any valid and given reason! Even I had to report people who are simply sabotaging the hangouts for their own dating purposes!
They have helped me with the misunderstanding and removed the suspension but still I am skeptical about this app. No clear idea yet.
I joined hoping to connect with like minded travellers in my area. What I got was a bunch of unfriendly students and when I added friends they were rude to me. When I tried to login to my account again it was blocked. This app made me feel really bad and I do not recommend it. I thought I would try it out and I am glad I did because it is absolutely awful.
No refund, even if requested on the same day. I deleted the app on my phone and cancelled the subscription after deleting the app. I still ended up being charged for a one-year subscription. Tried to request a refund, and they refused.
I don't use the app at all, and now I have to keep a one-year subscription for something I do not use or find valuable

Sorry to hear about the frustration here.
All subscriptions for Nomadtable are processed directly through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Because of that, we unfortunately don’t have the ability to charge or refund users ourselves — those decisions are handled entirely by Apple/Google through their billing systems.
If you were charged after starting a trial, it usually means the cancellation happened after the trial converted to a subscription. In those cases, the only way to request a refund is directly through Apple or Google’s refund request page, since they control the payment.
