I had a a delivery of six one ton bags of crushed slate this morning from your Skelmersdale branch , just to say the drop off site is on a busy junction , the driver (Edwin ) was excellent making light work in getting the vehicle into the site then offloading the bags in the right position, can’t thank him enough as well as the service at skelmersdale

I ordered a load of C24 150 x 50 as I needed high grade, kiln dried wood to enable me to construct with precision.
Most of the wood that I got delivered was absolutely saturated as it had just come out of the pressure treatment.
Even the delivery driver noted the wood was very wet as it was very heavy.
Was is the point of me ordering high grade kiln dried wood if you send out soaking wet wood?
This makes it difficult to work with and is then prone to shrinking and twisting as it dries out.
When I ordered the wood I even requested the wood to be dry.
I would of sent it all back but this would of meant delays that would put the project behind schedule.
I will not be using NWTT again and would advise anyone who wants dry wood to do the same.

From ordering 2 fence panels to delivery, service was very good , my delivery driver even fitted the new panels in for me , Roger , you are a credit to the Winsford branch

ordered Levingtons manure 8th feb, told delivery 13th Feb. After many calls chasing delivery, finally got delivered 4th march - just 4 bags Levington and 4 very much cheaper bags of poor quality manure which I refused. They stated they only had 4 bags, despite it still being 'in stock' on the website and I told them I would have collected 4 bags rather than pay £9 delivery for 4 bags. Told I would get a refund and they would look at delivery charge. had to chase a refund for over 3 weeks with numerous calls and emails, each promising to call me back but didnt. Only when I stated I would take legal action did they actually provide refund but did not refund delivery charges, or for the inconveniece of having to chase with numerous calls and hassle over a 7 week period. Refund was not sent on date specified date so again had to chase this, and the final call call Jimmy sarcastaically said 'I told you I'd phone you back didnt I', then promptly slammed phone down. Terrible customer service and no explanation why it took over 3 weeks for refund. Have used NWTT for several years but wont buy again and I won't recommend.

Called in the Waterfoot branch to check the availability of some wood for couple of shelves. Lee in the office directed me to Tony who found a lovely piece of wood just the measurements I’d requested and cut me 2 perfect pieces. They knew exactly what I was looking for and took no time to fill my requirements. On top of that I was pleasantly surprised at the reasonable price. Thanks, Lee, Keenan and Tony.

my dad always used the waterfoot branch and so when I needed some hardwood for a bench project I decided to use the same place, Keenan and Lee were both helpful and informative .

Just pop in to northwest timber in waterfoot all the staff in was so helpful took the timber to my car and to of staff in the yard all spoke to me and staff in the sales office was out standing will be going back there thank for the help

I’m a plasterer by trade and currently doing my own garden up so knowledge of timber and what I need is minimal. Lee and Keenan have been spot on and made my experience easy and pretty much guided me through with what I need. Highly recommend and will not hesitate to use again.

Tony (from the Waterfoot depot) delivered me 3 tonne bags of hardcore. Because there was a skip in the way, I thought he would have to just drop it in the vags on the street. However, he did a lot of angering around and managed to drop all three bags exactly where I needed them. Top guy, extremely helpful, saved me so much work.

Very knowledgeable advice will definitely use again for all our timber needs
