Service very bad, even not answering any more. Tail2, promoted as a professional cam, not more than an expensive webcam! Colors bad, manual WB a disaster, focus pumping, gimbal speed with remote not adjustable….. Far away from professional!

As a YouTube Tech reviewer and advisor (@all-the-gear-and-no-idea-uk) I have to say that the Tail Air has enhanced my channel picture quality to the point that no other cameras that I have (Sony, Canon or DJI Osmo Pocket 3 to mention just a few) has given me the picture quality that I've been hunting for until now.
This camera simply does everything, and after experiencing this type of quality (in build, performance and visual quality), I will be looking for a way to save up and buy the latest Tail Air 2, which has just a few missing features that my original Tail Air is missing.
The negative reviews that I've read on here (TrustPilot) have left me scratching my head, as I've got friends that use Obsbot devices and they all swear by it and use them on a daily basis with zero issues like myself with the Tail Air.
Obsbot Customer Service is also great, especially when it came to a little help on a few minor things (setting up), so again, 5/5 to these guys, and I've had no complaints to mention here either.
So my honest opinion and advice to anyone interested in buying aby of the Obsbot devices (especially the Tail Air) is to just test it out for for yourself first (you have the right to return it if not satisfied, so you'llnot losing anything!!)
Trust me I'm a very very critical YouTube Tech reviewer and with the Tail Air especially, I've practically got zero complaints apart from a few features missing features that Obsbot has now included on their latest and newest model Tail Air 2.
I'll be doing a review on the Tail Air very soon (it's a shame that it's not the Tail Air 2 along side of it) as I personally think that content creators and any one that needs perfect picture quality, really do need to check this amazing camera out.
A very big thank you to all of the Obsbot engineers and other team members at Obsbot for such a great camera (finally my hunt is over)
Hidden Customs Charges
I recently ordered the OBSBOT Meet SE webcam from OBSBOT, and I am extremely disappointed. What seemed like a straightforward online order quickly turned into a frustrating experience.
After placing the order, I was hit with a ₹2,220 customs charge via FedEx, which is nearly 30% of the product's value. This outrageous fee was never mentioned at the time of purchase—not even a warning or estimated cost.
Had I known about these hidden charges, I would never have placed the order. The total cost ended up far higher than expected, and I could have easily purchased a better product locally at this inflated price. It feels deceptive and misleading.

I ordered the OBSBOT Meet 2 camera on Thursday, March 6th. I received order confirmation and dispatch notification on Friday, March 7th.
I also received the tracking ID from FedEx, showing my camera was being shipped from China.
Today, 10th March, I received my OBSBOT Meet 2 camera, delivered by FedEx at 10:01 AM (UK)! There were no import taxes to pay.
Honestly, I only read the Trustpilot reviews after I purchased, and I was very worried. However, my personal experience here is that OBSBOT has been great. Given my order came from China, superb service receiving it in 2 working days.

It's a great piece of kit! I downloaded the software in advance of connecting the camera (I am on a Mac). After connecting the camera, it just worked. It was very easy to adjust all the settings, and it is a huge improvement on my previous webcam. The quality of the image is amazing, and the range of controls available is another huge improvement on my previous webcam.
Based on my experience, I would recommend OBSBOT, both in terms of the product and also, customer experience.
Buyer Beware.. Look Elsewhere
Originally I was excited to try these cameras so I'd purchases the Tiny 2 and the Tail Air for a multi-camera test. Ultimately, I ended up placing 3 separate orders within the time span of a week (cameras & accessories). Their website stated that the items ship from the US. Well, of my 3 orders, 2 arrived missing items from the shipment. I now see additional shipping notifications from China and I have no idea why, as my account on their website says the orders have been fulfilled. I reached out to their support but have yet to receive a reply. I'll contact PayPal and my card issuer for a resolution. The cameras worked okay so far, however, I would not recommend anyone to invest significantly with OBSBOT products. Their support is email only and so far non-existent. As someone one told me "it only takes one match to burn down a building". Well metaphorically, if that building were my confidence in this company, consider this experience as the lit match and the building is burning to the ground. I'm still waiting to hear from them with respect to the missing items I'd purchased.
Import Fees Wipe Out Black Friday Discount

Was super psyched to eventually get ObsBot's fantastic Tail Air PTZ Camera.
Still love the camera itself!!
However FedEx just sent me an email for another £70 in import fees.
Looking at the Black Friday discount had I purchased from Amazon UK Seller Remo Tech UK which is ObsBot's parent company I wouldn't have had any fees and it would have been the same exact price.
Coulda bought other tech items on sale and saved this purchase for later given the discount was negated.
Disappointing.
When clicking buy on the product page it should direct you to their storefront in your country. If it's smart enough to change the currency into £s it should send you to the most efficient storefront.
Watch out for duty costs
Be very careful buying from this company. They don't sort import duty so the overall cost is likely much higher once you get the FedEx bill on top.
Once you factor all the costs in there are much better value options out there.

Dieser Store verstößt eindeutig gegen deutsches Recht!
Grundsätzlich haben Händler gegenüber Verbrauchern den Gesamtpreis zu nennen – also sämtliche Preise anzugeben, die einschließlich der Umsatzsteuer und sonstiger Preisbestandteile zu zahlen sind. Dies folgt aus § 6 Abs. 1 Nr. 2 der Preisangabenverordnung (PAngV) und umfasst nicht nur Versandkosten.
Kauft auf gar keinen Fall Produkte…
Kauft auf gar keinen Fall Produkte direkt auf der Homepage von OBSbot! Am Ende erhöht sich nämlich der Rechnungsbetrag durch Steuern und Zölle um beinahe 30%. Hierüber informiert der Verkäufer nur im Kleingedruckten und meiner Meinung nach auch nur sehr unzureichend.
Achtung: Kostenerhöhung durch Zoll von ca. 25%
Achtung bei Bestellung der Produkte von Obsbot über deren Webseite. Fast unerkennbar wird das Produkt aus China versendet. Im Nachgang zur Lieferung erhält man einige Tage später eine Rechnung für Zoll und Gebühren. In meinem Fall wurde so der Kaufpreis um ca. 25% nachträglich erhöht. Der Hersteller möchte auch weiterhin keine klaren Hinweise hierzu auf seine Webseite anbringen. Deshalb evtl. das Produkt über eine andere Plattform erwerben.
Mit der Kamera selbst bin ich sehr zufrieden.

Bei Rückgabe des Produktes muss das Produkt nach Deutschland gesendet werden, d.h. MwSt und Zollgebühren werden nicht erstattet. Der deutsche Verkaufssitz zeigte sich unkulant und erstatte die MwSt. nicht, obwohl sie das Produkt in Deutscland behielten.
Produkt ist eigentlich gut. Z.B bei Amazon bestellen ist leider günstiger, sicherer und kundefreundlicher

On 14/02/2024 I send them email asking what is going on with order. No response at all.
On 18/02/2024 I filled charge back and finally they answered, and send item on 18/02/2024 from china...
Joke company, on amazon was same price delivery next day I'm regretting ordering from this site 1/5

Unfortunately the company Remo Tech Co., Ltd. (which stands behind OBSBOT) is not able to get their app that comes with their flagship product OBSBOT TinyCam 4K fixed to run with current version of Windows 11. This degrades the expensive PTZ camera to a non PTZ webcam which you normally pay 10 times less for than for the 4K OBSBOT TinyCam 4K.
Their support initially answered fast but seems not to understand precise customer descriptions/issues
FedEx did not deliver, OBSBOT resolved the issue anyway

Also asked OBSBot if they (as a sender) can get extra information on the delivery. OBSBot also opened a case with FedEx and in parallel sent me a new camera. Before FedEx has responded, I have received the new camera.
The camera works really well and the service of OBSBot to resolve the issue is outstanding. Will buy again.
