I couldn’t have imagined a better platform for me to learn and practice Spanish. Veronica is amazing!

I have been wanting to learn Spanish for a long time but the main barriers were time and cost. OCTB has offered this beautiful flexibility in scheduling your classes and is very reasonably priced. I have been taking my classes with Mrs. Valeria and she has been great at adapting to my scheduling and going at a slow pace as I came with no background at all in Spanish. Very grateful.

I started Spanish beginners classes last year for my kid. The teacher we got is excellent with kids. She taught so well and eased our concerns when we said we need more help as we don't know any Spanish. She used to teach in way that was both entertaining and useful that my kid started even talking small sentences. I see very good progress in her Spanish vocabulary. I liked ease of scheduling classes at our convenience and individual attention for the kid. The only reason I took out 1 star is the new teacher took almost 8 classes to figure out at what level is my kid's Spanish. I would've liked more if there is some way that when we change to new teacher, they can see where the kid's level is.

I enjoy my classes with Manuel. He is knowledgeable, patient and communicates well. I'm learning at my own pace and getting more comfortable with the language each lesson.

OTCB has really improved my language skills. The online platform made it easy to schedule language lessons no matter where I am (I travel a lot so it has been amazingly helpful!). I like the structure of having homework and corrections from each lesson. It really forces me to review my grammar and vocabulary learned on each lesson. Overall very pleased with OCTB and my instructor!

OCTB helped me become bilingual at my job! I had a history of formal Spanish lessons, and wanted to refresh my skills after a long break. With my tutor, Valeria, we tailored each lesson to a grammar concept I had forgotten, or wanted more clarity on. We worked at my pace, and she customized each class to my knowledge and the specific vocab I wanted to learn. I look forward to each lesson!

This Spanish course was excellent, the amount of information and tools they provide us are wonderful. Course Instructors show great knowledge and professionalism and very nice way on interacting.

I cannot speak highly enough about Overcome the Barrier. The platform is intuitive and the tutors are fantastic. I take 3 sessions per week, 45 minutes each, and have for just shy of 8 months now - although I began with an initial 2 sessions per week. Each tutor has a different style and I alternate between two so I can focus on specific needs within a session. Both are knowledgeable, kind, and engaging. Pricing is incredible and the quality is on par with platforms that cost 5-10x OCTB. I have had a few last-minute rescheduling needs and subscription questions and OCTB has been easy to contact, reliable, pleasant, and more than accommodating when I've reached out with a question or need. Moreover, I have grown leaps and bounds with my Spanish skills and my confidence has improved with time (I am stubborn and shy and still it has helped!)

OCTB has been great! The customer service is excellent. I have worked extensively with Cecilia from Argentina. Cecilia is very personable, can talk about any theme, makes me feel very comfortable and she is so good at keeping the conversation flowing- definitely a skill!

I really like OCTB and I am very thankful I learned of OCTB. My tutor is Martha Moron and she is really very knowledgeable about Spanish grammar and she can explain to me the reason why certain words are used a certain way which helps me retain the information.

OCTB is great! I love their customer service they are courteous and always find a way to help you. (Thank you Mr. Vladimir). By the way Patricia Siegel is great. My kids loves her.

I am so happy that I am now taking Spanish zoom classes with Overcome The Barrier. I learned much more with OCTB for 10 classes with my tutor Alejandra Ardila than with my previous experiences with different group classes in the NY area for 5 years. I like these classes because I have contact with my teacher for all duration of my class. All my speaking is recorded so I can see my mistakes, correct them with the teacher, remember them and do not make them anymore. I have two 60 minutes classes every week and I am really happy. It is a very good way to train the memory also. I like to travel so it is very helpful to speak basic Spanish if you go to South Europe or Latin America. I really enjoy the classes with my teacher Alejandra.

OCTB is a great foreign language organization that I have enjoyed working with! They are professional, supportive, reliable and their rates are the best in the business!
But that is only half the equation, as their tutors are outstanding! I love the tutors who have helped me on this journey. Tatiana Perez and Cecilia Amorena are superb teachers, very patient, understanding and helpful in every way! They are remarkable girls.
I have nothing but high praise for the OCTB program and would encourage anyone looking to learn a language to try this program first.

I have wanted to learn Spanish for years but wasn’t sure how to go about it on my own. OCTB came up in my Google search and I decided to give it a try. I enjoyed the demo lesson and decided to move forward. The price is reasonable and I like that you can make your own schedule. Santiago has been great to work with! I have really learned quite a bit in the short time we have worked together and look forward to increasing my vocabulary and fluency. I am learning things that I will actually use in everyday conversations.
