I received the loafers ordered waiting nearly 14 days for delivery. Colour is nothing like the picture. Sizes are completely off. Emailed company same day of delivery to advise I need to return. Had to send them picture showing they were still in original packaging and what the issue was. So far I’ve had 13 emails offering 10%. 15% 30% to keep the shoes. NO NO NO I have told them repeatedly. Why would I want a discount for shoes that don’t fit. Under the distance of selling act they are not fit for purpose and I want a refund.. Worst company I have ever dealt with in a long time.

Came from China, very poor quality, not worth anything like the money paid and not what I ordered.

extremely poor quality! nothing like the picture, then they refused to return my money, then offered percentage refund as their "EU" office is not working, a lot of lies... How can this company be still operating. I have reported it to UK fraud and also to the EU.

SCAM - Avoid.

Send different / low quality clothes. Then follow up with an AI response when you try to return saying their warehouse is closed.

Absolute scam. I doubt I'll get my money back.

Do not buy anything from this company. I wish I had checked Trustpilot reviews before purchasing from Old Monarchy but lesson learnt!!
I got the same emails as everyone else regarding returns. I went through my bank to get money refunded as he is selling cheap Chinese goods and describing them totally different to what you get.
Avoid at all costs

SCAM COMPANY AVOID. Spent about £70 on 2 pairs of linen trousers and a linen shirt in men’s medium. Was fooled by the fake website and massive discount. Wasn’t aware these were being shipped from China until I’d paid for the goods. The items that arrived were in child size, did not match the photos and were very cheap quality. They look like the sort of clothing you’d put on a doll or toy, not clothing to be worn by people. No labels on the clothes but they feel synthetic, not linen. Have now emailed OM several times to return the items. They keep offering me partial refund (10% then 25%) to keep the goods, warning that returning them will be a lot of hassle and expense as I have to pay to ship them back to Asia. Website states it’s an easy returns policy! I reported OM to google yesterday as they were still advertising them. Had a response this morning that they’ve now removed OM ads, so that should help reduce future scams. I purchased on credit card so now going to contact my bank to see if they can help.
** have just spoken with my bank who confirmed what they are doing with returns is illegal, demanding that we pay the postage back to Asia. They’ve advised me to email loek/ OM back stating ‘The goods are available at my address, please arrange for these to be picked up’. OM have 15 days to action that request, otherwise the bank fraud team will kick into action. Suggest everyone that’s been scammed contacts theirs banks and does the same

I bought a Shirt thinking a Linen shirt because description said Linen.
What turned out is a very cheap and thin artificial cloth.
To make things worst shirt does not have Composition (Cotton %, polyester%) label. Which clearly means it is just a fake website selling cheap clothes.
They will not take the returns back and you just to have to bargain how much money you get back not to return the shirt.
Overall just cheap quality rubbish clothes.

Sent me an item that looked nothing like the picture and then is negotiating a return with me which is in direct breach of Consumer Rights Act.

They have a great website which is all fake. The goods are really really rubbish quality from China. They order the products from China and then sell them on to the unsuspecting customer. Then you can't return the goods.

Long delivery- from China. Poor quality material but that aside, the large size adult shirt wouldn't fit a 12 year old. Not even fit for keeping for dusters

Ordered wrong size by mistake. Despite website saying returns within 30 days, this is not the case. Breaking Dutch consumer law.
Essentially this is a sad little tw*t of a man called Loek sitting in some back fart Dutch town who is getting cheap shit sent directly from China.

I would give 0 if I could. Terrible company, and I wish I'd read the reviews before purchasing. Item was delivered and hour drive away from me and left in a bin. Loek from customer service said they will only issue refund if item was returned to them. But I never received it!!!????
I emailed them 8 times, and they just kept saying they will refund me if I return the item, without acknowledging the situation.
I have a newborn baby, which I told them about, and I both needed the item very much and didn't have time to debate with them, but there was no compassion or apology.

Purchased 2 pairs of cargo shorts, when they came quality is shocking tried to return and after numerous emails of them offering me a small percentages off the items which I refused they have now informed me I have to return to China at my cost as their office in the Netherlands is closed... It states on the website items to be returned to the Netherlands, I am appalled that this company are allowed to trade as they are not based in the Netherlands and have never been... Keep well away do not purchase this is a bogus company
UPDATE sent parcel back to China and customs is still waiting for contact from old monarchy... For 6 weeks now so lost the return cost also.

This website is a scam. Do not order anything from the site. It's all cheep, fish smelling plastic from China! It's not worth the "Original price" let alone the sale price. It's all a scam. Wolf in sheep's clothing, save your money!

I should have read some of the feedback regarding this company before ordering on line! BIG MISTAKE.

The products I received neither looked like what was advertised on the web nor did they match size wise ... I therefore applied for a refund but was told that, instead, "to make it easier for me", I could keep the products and get a 10% refund of the purchase price – without having to return or repackage it ... How terribly generous!

No need to say that I insisted for a full refund and was told that I could send the product at my own expense all the way back to the following address:

Totally agree with the previous reviewer. Took ages to arrive. Claims to have come from Cannock - at least that's what the return address is. Two linen shirts supposed to be 2XL. More like 2XS. Not even a washing label. Website looks very professional. Dont get taken in.

From what I can find online seems to be a crypto bro's side hustle - sought to return my items and was offered the 'exciting' offer of a 30% refund owing to apparent problems in the supply chain. After a series of exciting offers short of their own return policies (and consumer protection laws) went silent on me. Avoid like plague.

Their website looks fancy & genuine & intimates speedy delivery. Nowhere does it say shipped from China. 3 weeks in & I was informed my order had been lost by the courier. Then ‘Loek’ told me I had to travel 30 miles to try & locate the parcel myself at yodel service centre! Joke of a company. Avoid avoid avoid!

Two shirts have just turned up after 3 weeks - I'd already smelled a rat that the delivery was taking so long.
They look like they've come from Temu - they have no branding on them whatsoever.
Worse still, you can still see the Chinese shipping label underneath the new label that's been put on for my address (shipping from a UK address that doesn't seem to exist!).

Whilst typing this - I've found the shirt on Temu for £6.60

£25 on Old Monarchy - so they're just ordering from Temu then slapping a sticker on top with my address.

Ridiculous.
