I also requested a logo and a greeting message on the box, and the support team was very helpful — they included a beautifully designed Tamil New Year greeting card along with the box.
The taste of each sweet was authentic and delicious. Overall, a great experience. I would definitely recommend Oorla for authentic traditional sweets, especially for bulk orders and team events.

Terrible experience. This oorla is nothing but a scam disguised as a business. The sweets and savories I received were nowhere near the quality advertised. On top of that, they are overpriced for what they deliver, I paid 97 Euros and top export duty, in the box I see the value of 50 USD approx
Worse, they don’t even send the items as shown in their menu—you end up receiving random, lower-quality substitutes without any notice.
Customer service is complete idiocracy once they have your money.
They overpromise and underdeliver—what you see online is not what you get.
Feels like they rely on one-time customers rather than building trust.
Save your money and avoid oorla at all costs.

Very disappointed with the product and service. Firstly, I placed the order seeing ads from people abroad receiving Indian snacks and they couldn’t even provide what I paid for or what was advertised on their website. The team contacted me and asked to choose alternative items and this took a week’s time to resolve. Though they said the chosen items were available, they kept asking me to choose something else every time until they themselves decided what I could have.
Again another week has gone by without any updates and when I emailed them a week later, I was told it would be dispatched on the same day.
Again after a week of no updates, I contacted them to be told that there’s again a delay which is shockingly not even notified to me.
When I asked for a cancellation and refund, I got an email confirming my order being dispatched.
Despite all of this, I sincerely hoped that the food might be good but unfortunately all of the fried items tasted of spoiled oil and had such a stinky taste and smell. Waste of almost £100 for nothing!! I get even better and tastier products from the nearest Asian store for less than £5. What a waste of time, money and effort.

Product tases good, but pathetic customer service, they provide different products from what we ordered. No response from any of their contact channels. They just change the sweets on their own. Very disappointed with their service and when we pay more to get it delivered to the UK from India.

I am extremely disappointed with Oorla. I placed an order (#ORG36905) for delivery to India, but it arrived with items missing—specifically the Coimbatore Mysore Pak (200g). I provided a full unboxing video as proof immediately upon receipt on November 26th.
Since then, their "service" has been a nightmare:
Emails: I have sent 4+ follow-up emails. I keep getting told they are "checking," but they never provide a resolution.
Messenger: They intentionally do not open messages if the content is about a complaint or missing items.
Social Media: When I commented on their Facebook page to get a response, they deleted my comments instead of helping me.
It is clear this company cares more about hiding their mistakes than fixing them. They have my money, I have missing goods, and they are now ghosting me.
I demand an immediate refund. If you are an international customer or ordering for family, DO NOT TRUST THEM. I am now forced to take legal action and file a dispute with my bank to get my money back.

This is not a good shop. Once you place the order, it’s impossible to cancel and the customer service is pathetic, you will get a response once in 3 days. The deliveries are a hit or miss. If you are lucky you will get the delivery, else forget that you placed an order.

I have been a loyal customer for many years and have spent a significant amount of money with this company, using their service to send gifts to relatives in India from the U.S and have purchased for myself the palahara petti in the past.
Unfortunately, this recent experience has been unacceptable. I accidentally used the same address for two different gift orders meant for two different people. I immediately emailed customer service with the correct addresses. They confirmed the change—but instead, they mixed up the addresses and sent the package to Coimbatore with the wrong details.
Since Diwali until now (year-end), I have sent over 15 emails asking them to correct this issue. Rather than fixing it, they repeatedly blamed me, were rude, dismissive, and completely failed to understand a very simple request. Their internal label system continues to mix up the two addresses. Every time they ask me to confirm the address, I clearly state it is incorrect and refer them to my previous emails—yet they keep repeating the same mistake.
The lack of accountability, poor responsiveness, and outright rude behavior toward a long-time, paying customer is shocking. A customer does not deserve this kind of treatment.
This is absolutely my last purchase with this company. I will be informing everyone I know in California and across multiple WhatsApp groups to avoid this organization. I do not recommend doing business with a company that is this unprofessional and disrespectful.

Please don’t buy. This is not a fresh products. It takes time to deliver in 2 to 3 days, within that stipulated period the product may get decomposed. Hence it is not worth for buying . if you eat, then It will creates a food poison for you…
Very very very waste of money, Very very very dangerous to health & Very very very decomposed items.
My real rating for “Oorla” company is only minus 10 star (-10) . But mandatorily asking for one positive star for making a review.
Everyone should have to file and register a complain against this company in food safety department.

Very low in quality...They don't use even a bit of ghee in any sweet but charging more than the sweets made with ghee. It's only refined oil. Should have ordered in the local sweet shop only which tastes much much better. I have ordered Adhirasam and Thirunelveli halva. Both tasted very very below average for the price they have charged. I will definitely not recommend 👎🏼

Despite this, my order was delivered seven days earlier on Oct 13, and most of the products had manufacturing dates far too old to be enjoyed fresh on Diwali.
I also contacted customer service (Yamuna and Shabana) and was told I’d receive a follow-up email with a coupon for the inconvenience, but that never happened. After that, there was no reply to my messages.
This was quite disappointing — I ordered specifically for Diwali celebrations, but most items will expire before the festival. Oorla really needs to improve their product date transparency and customer communication, especially for time-sensitive festive orders.

DO NO BUYYY, They over charged me, more than the bill amount, when i asked in chat the guy was sooo rude and they said bank must have charged ( which bank charges our debit crd account for uisng the money ) but then i showed proof from bank, no response form them, no refund of that extra money charged, very bad service , dont buy ..its been 3 weeks i rasied this concern but no response or refund from them.I would suggest whoever buys , all check your bank state & bill summary to match the amount.
