Recently got free access to some of Mark Sebastian's services. For the most part he buys junky short term options hoping to get a fast move for 25% gains. Over the 2 months, the 25% winners couldn't keep up with the 100% losers, and I lost $1000s.
His subscription prices are high and as far as I saw, his documented monthly P&L doesn't even cover the cost of his services.
I would stay away from this service!

I signed up for a service to trade the close from 3 to 4 pm. However, several months ago, they suddenly changed the Friday show to start at noon. Why am I paying full price when you are only delivering 80% of the content you sold me? NOT HAPPY!!!

Option Pit provides amazing value - they help you make money with services that are very reasonably priced for the return they anticipate. A single "special situations" subscription paid double the money charged - in a week or two. 100% return in a few weeks works for me!

I’ve been with Option Pit since November 2024, and it has been a wonderful experience. I’m currently part of around five different services that Option Pit offers, and I’ve found them all to be outstanding. I personally do not have a background in finance, economics, or math. I work in healthcare. I was a “refugee” from other services. I have developed to the point I can structure my own trades. It is reassuring to have a solid team working along your side while you develop a skill set. Trading paper is one thing, trading with your own cash and real emotions is another. See the Vix chart dated 5 Aug 2024. It can alter your perception. Thousands of positions vaporized in a short period of time. I was not blown up and continue to trade past the event. It is recommended that you save some time, save some money, and check out the Option Pit.

I subscribed to OP services in 2021. Back then, it was a boutique shop catering mostly to volatility aficionados and connoisseurs. Since then, I've witnessed an explosive growth in terms of new product offerings,vastly expanded strategies toolkit, significantly revamped academic curriculum, redesigned and modernized online presence.

The reviews posted to date quite vividly put on display the multitude of OP features its subscribers have come to love. While I'm cognizant of the repetition risk, I'd like nevertheless to elaborate on what it is that sets OP apart from and far ahead of many, many other trading services out there.

1. Professionalism
Hardened, sharpened, and polished by years and years of merciless daily grind on exchange trading floors, the OP crew generously shares all their hard-earned knowledge and expertise with anyone willing to learn.

2. Integrity
This is not an empty word. When you honor a customer's subscription from another (disintegrating) service provider, that's integrity. When you carve out an hour from your busy schedule to re-record a training class (because the original recording had failed for some reason), that's also integrity.

3.Hard Work and Dedication
No matter how jam-packed their day might be, there's always time for you, the subscriber, creating what I would call an "always there for you" feeling.

4. Adaptability
Sudden changes in market dynamics would immediately trigger an ad-hoc live session to guide you through the rough patch. Oh and by the way, their trading strategies and products are being constantly reevaluated on suitability for evolving market conditions.

I have been an OptionPit lifetime pro member. After years of trading options I thought I knew something about option trading. My strategies worked ok for me but I’ve learned so much at OptionPit that I felt like I knew nothing before. I have learned so much and have been much more successful since I joined a year or so ago. I attended the Option Pit conference in Chicago July 22nd thru July 24th and learned a lot! The keynote speakers were very informative and offered many things that can be incorporated into my trading.
Jim Carroll was a CFO and investment banker and currently a portfolio manager that told us how he looks at the market and the VIX complex and what he looks for, what conditions that cause him to perk up and pay attention.
Russell Rhoads, a VIX expert, has been at these conferences many times and he always digs into his research that examines putting on trades that have positive expectancy and shows us how to do them.
Frank Gregory gave detailed information about what is going on in Washington DC and how it affects the various sectors of the market and what trades might likely succeed.
Joshua Thomas is a hedge fund manager, HFT operator, manages a wealth management firm and created a speculating dark pool. He’s dealt in the repo markets, traded over a trillion dollars, raised over a half a billion dollars in private equity, briefed presidents and many senators and congressmen. To do all of that means he understands how money works. He gave an amazing presentation explaining how the FED really works. He said it’s simple to understand once you know about the hierarchy of money and the FEDs role as a market maker. He showed a table of what he trades depending on how accommodative the FED is. It was very informative!
I found the Thompson brothers presentation on hedging a portfolio to be particularly interesting. They described the best times to hedge a portfolio. They’ve developed a system that outperforms the S&P and have created an ETF that uses their system. I plan to use that information to modify my hedging strategy.
All of the other speakers were great also. Bill Baruch talked about trading futures. Noel Smith talked about convexity which Mark is using currently. Kevin Green, a senior derivatives manager at Charles Schwab, gave an excellent presentation about option flow and 0 DTE options.
All of that, plus, Mark knows how to put on a great conference, made it a great experience.

For starters, Option Pit is more a family of traders than a simple service. As some of the other reviews have indicated, at OP we like to meet in person and know each other on a personal basis. The education OP provides is cutting edge integration of volatility and other signals with market performance. OP gives the small retail trader an edge in placing and hedging trades to keep deltas near neutral. The many angles the OP team looks at provides opportunities for many trading styles. I have been to the last two annual "homecoming" conferences held in Chicago, and encourage everyone with availability in their schedule to attend. The 2024 conference we just concluded featured three days of incredible speakers and comraderie in the Chicago CBOE environment. OP makes learning and applying diverse option strategies fun. Come join the OP family and experience a cut well above normal services, and insights that other services struggle to provide in as coherent a manner.

Mark, Andrew, Licia and Voz are an extremly good team. They work on a daily basis to educate us. On how to find and manage a proper trades. Stock trading, basic rudiments are so imperative to learn. Paper trading is the most important rudiment. Thanks to the Option Pit Family.

Ever wonder what makes a trading service stand head and shoulders above the rest. Yes, consistent winning trades is probably the answer that comes to mind, but the real answer are the people behind the service. I was introduced to both Mark and Voz from Money Morning a few years ago when I subscribed to that service. As a lifetime member to some of the services offered I was very disappointed when they announced the services were being canceled. Mark immediately said that his paid service would be moved over to Option Pit and he would honor subscriptions people had with him How refreshing to hear I could continue with Mark. The whole team of experts at Option Pit work together like a fine oiled machine providing education and validating the reasoning for the trades they execute.

My previous modest gains have been replaced with larger double and triple gains as I continue to take advantage of service offerings provided. I am currently subscribed to 5 services and will not renew any other services I had in the past outside of Option Pit. The subscribers chat is full of educated, dedicated, funny, and serious traders all here for the same reason. This is a community of satisfied subscribers as evidenced by real results. There is no need for second guessing or confusion and the trading services are extremely time efficient which means I don't have to spend hours a day looking for trading setups.

I have traded for nearly 40 years and was never one to risk option trades. I started with Mark at another service. Unlike most, up-sell groups one encounters in the financial and investment space, he was always appeared to care about the people he interacted with. By no means were every trade a winner, but his ability to train is superb. Further, he brought on Licia, Andrew, Bill and Voz to help teach and most importantly understand, how options are priced and a full understanding of the "greeks".

Once he moved to his flagship service, he honored those of us that signed up at the other service -- an most honorable thing to do, especially for those of us who paid for "Life" memberships. Andrew's Weekly Profit Cycles have made me personally have a 12-month win rate of more than 95% and just over $60K in profit. His methods are simply a mathematical correlation that can't be beat.

Licia teaches candlesticks and trends like no other person I have listened give training. She is also a sincere person who cares about the customers and "fellow traders" she leads and provides insight.

Mark provides a combination of charisma, intelligence and a caring spirit one seldom finds in investment "gurus". My only regret is due to my busy schedule, not able to attend his live events in Chicago.

Lastly, one cannot express the level of support provided by the OP staff. I have been amazed at how quick they fix any problem quickly, the first time.

As a retired senior military officer, I give a solid five-stars plus to the folks at OP. One can only wish all businesses treated their customers with this level of support.

Great trades; they are all truly volatility experts, as well as very good trade "pickers". Also excellent teachers. However; I am a member (of every service) primarily for their trades. It has paid for my service multiple times over. I highly recommend OP for any level trader.
i made my first trade 50 yrs ago (baxer labs}. Another thing about these guys they are honest , fair and will listen to you. They are fun (which i prefer on a lesser basis but most of their "students and investors enjoy the human part of their humor. they want to ultimately meet their subscribers and intro their children (on occasion)
,I doubt i will ever cancel my subscription. in fact i paid some good money to buy a lifetime which are hard to get . i have been a lifer since september last yr but worked w them all before that.
