That's not really a reason for a 2-star review. It is Aldi and Lidl that choose not let their gift cards load into mobile wallets -not OptionsCard. Both brands present their gift cads instantly upon order in your email as images and pdfs so you can scan them at the till - that pretty good really. Probably worth 5-stars.

overly complicated system to use. Not user firendly and there are much easier benefit voucher casrd avaialble online. Unfortunantely cannot change this to one of the Swirl options

If its not for you and you only want a "spend anywhere card", that fine. We get a lot of comments saying that the OptionsCard is easy to use, but appreciate that we can always try harder. Most customers appreciate the flexibly of being able to choose from the numerous brands, regift to friends and family and having time to choose different things without fear of fees or decreasing balances.

That's a bit unfair to give us a 1 star review for doing what we do. You used your OptionsCard to get a MasterCard that you can now spend anywhere in the world for what ever you want. You could also have used it to get Dunnes or Pennys gift card for example. Giving us a 1-Star review for doing what we do is a bit like giving Ford a 1-Star review for only selling cars. Would you mind changing or removing this review as it is really not helpful to us or any potential customer.

Useful Employee Benefit Card – Simple and Practical
I received an OptionCard as part of my employee benefits, and overall the experience has been very positive.
The onboarding process was straightforward, the card activation was smooth, and it’s been easy to use for eligible purchases. It’s a practical way to manage employee benefits without unnecessary complexity.
I particularly appreciate how simple the concept is — instead of complicated reimbursement forms or delays, the card makes spending within the allowed categories convenient and transparent.
The app and portal are functional and easy to navigate. There’s always room for minor refinements, but overall it does exactly what it’s meant to do.
A solid benefit offering, and one I’m happy to have as part of my package.
