After one month of work, Orquidea shut down my account and didn’t pay what I had earned. There was no prior issue or warning—just a sudden disappearance of my balance.

I found Orquidea on LinkedIn and contacted them via email. I told them I had websites ready for approval, and they responded saying they were focused on LATAM countries. I replied that I’m from Brazil, and they asked me to submit my sites. I did exactly that—but after submission, I never received a response.

I messaged them on WhatsApp, and although they saw the messages, they didn’t reply for 3 to 4 days. I wasted a domain and several days just waiting for a response. If they had told me the site wasn’t a fit, that would’ve been fine—but they said nothing. That’s not acceptable, especially since the site was completely handmade, high-quality, and already approved by AdSense.

In short, I do not recommend working with this company. The managers I dealt with—Camila Hernandez, Rafael Preste, Agustín Saffores, Mariangel Marcano, and Gustavo Andrés Saffores—were unprofessional. Without any reason, they blocked me on WhatsApp after seeing my messages and not responding.

They asked me to submit sites, but once I did, they ignored me. It was a complete waste of time.

Also, be aware: they claim their revenue share is 80/20 in favor of the publisher—but in reality, it’s more like 50/50. And if your site is closed, the revenue goes entirely to them or their managers. Publishers are left with nothing.

We want to bring to light the illegal and unethical activities of Orquidea, an ad network working with major advertising platforms such as Google.com, MGID.com, RubiconProject.com, PubMatic.com, ImproveDigital.com, AMXrtb.com, E-Planning.net, Lijit.com, OpenX.com, AppNexus.com, and Outbrain.com. Based on our observations and reports from other publishers, Orquidea engages in practices that hurt publishers, including unjustified payment cuts and manipulations. Here are the concerning actions we’ve identified:

Daily Payment Cuts: Orquidea has been dropping publisher earnings daily, often citing fraudulent or illegal activities without providing any concrete evidence. They falsely claim that Google is cutting the payments, despite Google not following such a daily earnings adjustment policy.

End-of-Month Drops: At the end of the month, Orquidea once again drops publisher earnings, repeating the claim that Google or their compliance team detected illegal activity. This practice seems to be a recurring tactic to reduce payments.

Unethical Traffic Demands: Some of Orquidea’s managers have pressured publishers to send traffic by any means necessary, even encouraging the use of proxy traffic or other illegitimate methods. The reality is that most of the traffic is organic, and it’s impossible to force users to visit a site. Orquidea’s expectation that publishers run ads to increase traffic just to meet their impression quotas is both unreasonable and based on flawed logic.

Unprofessional Manager Behavior: Orquidea’s managers often misbehave with publishers, cutting payments without warning or proper explanation. They consistently blame Google for these issues, even when it is clear that Google is not responsible.

Ineffective Support Team: The support team is unreliable and unresponsive. Although the company lists legal policies on their website, these policies are not properly implemented in real time, leaving publishers without recourse.

Account Deactivation for High Earnings: When publishers manage to generate higher earnings, especially towards the end of the month, Orquidea either deactivates their accounts or drops all earnings without providing any valid reasons. Even if publishers follow all of Google’s guidelines and ensure high-quality traffic, Orquidea manipulates traffic reports (e.g., marking green traffic as red) to justify these actions.

Blacklist Orquidea: We call for Orquidea to be blacklisted by major ad networks and platforms to protect publishers from these fraudulent activities.

Improvement in Conduct: Orquidea needs to drastically improve its reputation, manager behavior, and knowledge of the industry. The company should deal with publishers honestly and avoid fraudulent practices that waste publishers' time and resources.

We urge all publishers to be cautious when working with Orquidea and similar networks. If you have experienced these issues, consider reporting them to industry watchdogs and regulatory bodies. Together, we can demand transparency and fairness in the digital advertising ecosystem.

I have more than 100k views daily from trusted sources Google and Bing.

When I contacted support, I informed them that I would remove all Orquidea tags. Support advised me to wait another two weeks, during which time your earnings will improve and they will set a fixed income amount. I waited for more than a week, my earnings remained stable at $0.01 per thousand impressions and never increased. I contacted support again to inform them that Orquidea is no longer useful.
