Awful Customer Service…

We had chosen to order our pram with Out N About because of the great reviews it gets as an off road pram. When we ordered in May the pram was identified for pre-order with delivery from the 14th July. With our baby due 3rd August we decided it was worth the wait given the great reviews the pram (V6 Nipper Plus) got.
We were then emailed on the 13th May to note that the delivery had been delayed till the 30th July. We decided to stick with the order after customer service assured us they weren’t expecting any further delays.
The company then circulated an order tracker on the 24th June, which initially showed our order as being ready for delivery from the 24th July (an improvement on the previous email). However, by the time time I checked a week later the delivery date was showing as the 10th August (after our due date).
By this point I had lost all faith in the companies ability to deliver the pram to any date they promised and sent an email on Monday (5th) requesting a refund and cancellation.
Customer service confirmed they had cancelled the order and processed the refund on Tuesday. So we went ahead and ordered another pram - I found out this morning that the refund hasn’t actually been processed and the pram has now in fact been dispatched…
So did the company have the pram in stock all along - how has a 10th August delivery date been brought forward by a month (after I’d had confirmation I’d cancelled)?
The company phone number is never answered and doesn’t give an option to leave a voicemail. So speaking to anyone at Out N About is impossible.
I can’t review the actual pram but I can say if you are looking for a company with good customer service I’d avoid Out n About. So far the experience has been nothing but stressful and I’m now out the cost of two prams till they sort out the promised refund!

Maybe getting what we paid for

Ordered in April we’re now in July and haven’t received anything despite delivery supposed to be in May, we were offered to split our order and receive what was in stock and have the remaining items follow when in stock, we accepted but customer services went quiet for weeks before finally offering a 10% discount and the item to be delivered in 2 weeks, multiple messages informing of delivery within weeks have arrived but not the pram, we now have a 7 week old and no pram, tracking only shows the accessories now so no idea if we’re getting what we paid for or not as we’ve heard nothing from customer services and the latest promise date has passed again

Received the wrong tyres for my nipper…

Received the wrong tyres for my nipper double. After querying it with out and about customer service, I received a phone call from a member of team and OMG, that was the most pleasant conversation I had in a long time. It’s not enough I received a numerous apologies, I also don’t have to send the items back, still receiving a full refund. And on top of it I get send another, quite expensive, part for my buggy completely free.
Thank you out and about. I will definitely order more from you.

Good quality product - Storage bag for buggy
However instructions on how to fit the buggy inside of the bag would have been very useful

Poor stock management

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I'm extremely disappointed with my experience with Out'n'About.

I ordered a Nipper V6 Plus in April after doing a lot of research and deciding it was the perfect buggy for my family's needs. At the time of ordering, I was told it would be shipped at the end of May. Unfortunately, that date came and went, followed by countless delays and revised estimates with no clear communication.

Eventually, I had no choice but to cancel my order as I simply couldn't wait any longer. In the meantime, I had to buy a second-hand Nipper just so I had a suitable buggy to use.

I then ordered the upgrade kit and Switch attachment instead, as these were showing as in stock on the website. I asked if they could offer any goodwill discount given the months of delays and inconvenience, but my request was ignored entirely. Despite cancelling my original order, I still haven't received confirmation of my refund or any dispatch confirmation for my new order.

The most frustrating part is that I was genuinely excited to own one of these buggies. After extensive research, I was convinced Out'n'About offered exactly what I was looking for, so this whole experience has been incredibly disappointing. The products may be excellent, but the customer service, communication and order fulfilment have let the company down badly.

I sincerely hope they improve their stock management and communication, because my experience has fallen far short of what I expected.

Now arrived — Order placed April, Still waiting and no response

UPDATE: The day after placing the below review, I got contacted by Out n about. Marie was super understanding and clearly explained the reasons for the delay. The day after our call I got a notification from DPD and pram arrived this am ☺️ Very happy with the product, just as expected, a fantastic pram. Just waiting on the 10%discount they promised to be reimbursed.
Really hope they manage to solve the issues with their manufacturer and provide reasonable promise dates to future customers.

We placed an order for the Nipper V6 plus in April as we had a very clear idea of what we wanted. Promised delivery date at the time of order was beginning of June - plenty of time as baby due mid August. Close to delivery date, we had an update informing of delay until end of June giving us the option to cancel if unhappy with delay. We decided to wait. Only a few days after, got another email with yet another delay, this time July and again offering the possibility cancel the order, else promised a 10%off and no further delays. Of course, £ off still not received, order still not pending and now showing a delivery date of mid august which is passed my baby’s due date. Have tried calling and their phone is always off, no one seems to ever pick up, sent multiple emails & contacted them via instagram. Feeling very frustrated atm and rather disappointed with their service.

Nipper plus is great!

I was lucky enough to receive my nipper plus through the mother & baby awards for testing and I ADORE it, the size is amazing, my little boy has so much space (he’s a big 2.5yr old in 3-4 clothing) the amount of pockets/ basket space as well is so good! The customer service is 100/10! They let me keep the pram and we’ve not looked back, we just love our Nipper!! Only downside I found was with the tyres being air filled we had a nice big thorn puncture the tyre (we now have them al filled with some green slime that has done the job)

Terrible company

Terrible company. Had a small vital part fail on an expensive pram still well under warranty. Contacted Out n About to report that matter and arrange a repair several weeks ago. They continue to state that the part is out of stock with no date of when it will be back in stock. No offer of replacement and meanwhile we are left without a pram for several weeks with no idea of when it will be fixed whilst our child outgrows it, making it a completely pointless purchase. We paid a small fortune for this pram less than 12 months ago, it’s hardly been used and a small integral bolt required to keep the pram together has failed. I would never buy from this company again. Their products and most importantly customer service are terrible.

I bought the refurbished Nipper Wagon

I bought the refurbished Nipper Wagon, I expected it to have a few bumps or scratches, but it arrived the next day absolutely immaculate. So pleased with it. The service was excellent . My daughter loves it.

Completely messed about. Delayed delivery and shocking customer service

I preordered for delivery by 22nd May. No word so followed up the following week, they then dispatched and when requested did agree to refund 10%, but I was away over the 28th/29th when delivery attempted and the parcel sent back to them by courier. Not hearing anything I contacted them last week (8th June), customer service first confirmed warehouse team was processing my order, but by the end of the week they reverted to “the pushchair is currently in the process of being returned back to our warehouse”. I have followed up with customer service multiple times (email only as both phone lines not operational) and just not hearing back at all now (17th June). Decided to look into it myself and contact the courier who confirmed that the parcel was returned to Out’n’Abouts warehouse 2nd June. It’s 15 days later and still not been dispatched for delivery and been lied to by customer service that they haven’t yet received it.
My baby has outgrown their pram and I was relying on receiving this over a month ago now. Whilst 10% off is something it doesn’t really cut it when compensating the ware on the body of a solo mum needing to carry her 9kg baby in a sling everywhere for a month.
Update: After 5 days of no response to email, this review had one within hours. (Reply to Out’nAbout response: I have been provided a new order number 46528. My original order number was 43842)
Over the next few days customer service email responded and confirmed they had received my pushchair back from the courier, but that it had been sent it out mistakenly to another customer and they had no more available. That they would dispatch a different colour one now and would provide the colour that I ordered pack when that was available and a further 5% refund (when prompted).
20th June: The parcel has arrived, it’s the colour pack (in the colour of my original order that they said they didn’t have any of) … but still no pushchair. I follow up and after more confusion they confirm they’ll dispatch an actual pushchair
25th June: Received a damaged abd unsafe pushchair - one of the straps completely broke as I adjusted its height. Contacted customer service, same random different responses from different members of the team, “we could send this”, next “no we don’t have any of those in stock” and now no response at all for 5 days. Honestly a shambolic mess, like a satirical joke! It’s a real shame because a lot of the thought and function of the pushchair are great, quality/safety checks and customer service just not there at all for an item you folk out a small fortune for

From what you’ve described, it may be that delivery was attempted while nobody was available to receive the parcel and DPD returned it to us. If this happened, it’s possible the returned stock was then processed back through our warehouse system before the updated availability notice was generated.

Pre ordered the double V6

Pre ordered the double V6, didn’t arrive on time. Had to chase order several times and the buggy arrived one month after the pre order date. Poor communication and service but happy to take my money on purchase!

Day after I received I the buggy I get an email about a fault with the buggy self folding reported by others so had to order another part for it.

We are also experiencing issues with the break it’s sometimes difficult to get the brake peddle to stay down.

They need to stop trading and sort out all the issues before there is a fatality

Go to the Out and About community page on Facebook and you won't buy one...we had a broken buggy 3 times, such terrible customer service and now they are collapsing on babies, O&A are pretending they have fixed the issue but it's not.

Wrong pram and colapses

Steep delivery charges for small items

Ordering experience is fine, but the delivery is very expensive. I ordered a small piece of fabric cover and it was sent with Evri and cost £5.99 to turn up several days later.

Hardly worth that, I'm afraid. Smaller items (that could fit in an envelope) should cost less and use Royal Mail tracked for less than half that cost - and probably faster delivery.

Otherwise product is fine!

Sadly didn't have loan buggy available and I truly couldn't do everyday routine without it. My husband works away we have a dog that needs walking and they wasn't too keen to call me and find a way to do this. Sadly I trusted this company
