Very quick to respond, thorough report and generally very helpful - would definitely recommend!

Was very pleased with my experience with Oval surveyors.

They very quickly liaised with the estate agent to set up the survey and produced a detailed and easy to understand survey in a timely manner, with lots of photos to illustrate the observations made.

They were also very easy to communicate with both pre and post survey and were happy to explain in more detail the points I wanted to follow up on.

Would recommend them to anyone needing a survey.

We were provided with a very thorough report. The surveyor even went back a second time, and was extremely friendly and available to answer questions.

We came into contact with Oval Surveyers through GOTO Surveys as provided by our solicitors. Once we selected what type of survey we wanted, Oval Surveyers got in contact swiftly and helped to arrange our RICS Home Level 3 survey. Didn’t know what to expect as we are first time buyers but the process was very straightforward and the communication was thorough. We didn’t ask many follow up questions after our survey but I think they would have been more than happy to have a follow up call if you wanted to go over some details. Our report was very detailed so we had all we needed.

As a first time buyer Oval made the home survey process very easy. Following appointing Oval, they directly contacted the estate agent the next working day to organise the survey. The report was sent over very quickly and was very thorough.

Very detailed report with photos. Surveyor identified issues I was not aware of which allowed me to renegotiate purchase price with seller. I would highly recommend this company.

I normally do not write reviews, however, Oval Surveyors, in particular Aftar there, was amazing and I feel compelled to write this. He was both professional and informative whilst being an absolute pleasure to deal with. I needed 2 surveys done by Oval as I sadly decided to pull out of my first purchase due to the structural defects highlighted in the first report by them and then used them again for a subsequent property. Both reports were extremely detailed and thorough with clear, concise wording and photos. Furthermore, Aftar would brief me afterwards via telephone so I had a good understanding of any issues even before receiving the comprehensive report. He also communicated promptly and dealt with my additional queries. They are also significantly better than any surveyor I've used previously. I will recommend them to everyone I know and wish them all the success in the future!

Oval was professional and efficient in getting our HomeBuyers Report done for our property purchase.

I was a first time buyer and so very new to the whole process but I am pleased with the service by Oval Surveyors. The report was thorough and touched on all the specific elements I had concerns with and had requested. The photographic evidence was useful for negotiating with sellers. Aftar correctly identified a leak coming from the above flat which I was able to get the seller to fix prior to exchange. Having a debrief was also very helpful, allowing me to ask questions, keeping what can look like a scary report feel manageable. The only thing I would say was that the report states only electricity could be found, however if they had asked and been a bit more forceful with the lettings agents then they would have found the location of the gas meter. Luckily the meter had been checked by the seller annually so no harm there.
