Missing box…
After a little problem with one of my 3 boxes not being delivered I rang customer service
I got to speak to a lovely lady called Kate
What an asset she is to Home Furniture
She went above and beyond to try and locate my missing box
In the end she sent out a new one with next day delivery..what a breath of fresh air to speak to someone so friendly and did everything possible to resolve the problem

Disgraceful service - Office Manager defends lying couriers and broken promises
Avoid this company at all costs. I ordered a wardrobe and specifically selected a delivery date. Not only was the delivery missed, but the entire customer service process was an absolute joke.I called Own Furniture three separate times to find out where my item was. On all three occasions, the front-line advisors promised they would look into it and call me back. Not a single person ever bothered to return my calls. When I escalated this to the Office Manager, Katie, she made the pathetic excuse that they couldn’t get through to DX Delivery. This is a blatant lie—immediately after hanging up with her unhelpful team, I called DX myself and got through to a human agent within ONE minute. I then called their subcontractor, M&H Logistics, and got through instantly. If a customer can get through in 60 seconds, Own Furniture simply didn’t bother trying.To make matters worse, Own Furniture claims they employ "reputable" delivery partners. A quick look at Google Reviews shows DX is flooded with horrific 1-star reviews, and M&H Logistics struggles to maintain a poor 3-star average. The M&H advisor I spoke to on the phone was incredibly argumentative and combative, aggressively lying to me that my order was a "two-man delivery" to excuse the delay. When it finally arrived a day late, only ONE person delivered it. The package labels also explicitly proved it was meant to be an overnight delivery for the day before.When I brought all of this evidence to Office Manager Katie, she hid behind unfair terms and conditions, refused any form of goodwill compensation, and completely shrugged off the fact that her staff lied and her couriers were abusive. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, Own Furniture is legally responsible for their delivery network, yet they completely refuse to take accountability.I have closed all communication with this untrustworthy company, logged a formal payment dispute through Clearpay
UPDATE (15/07/2026): Own Furniture's reply below proves their utter disregard for UK law. Under Section 29 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, a retailer cannot use their fine print terms to escape liability for courier failures. You publicly admitted below that you missed my delivery date—that is a breach of contract. Clearpay has now formally stepped in and launched an official investigation into your service failure. Authorise the £69.50 partial refund to Clearpay immediately.

We understand how frustrating this was and are sorry that you were left feeling let down. Following your complaint, our Office Manager raised a formal complaint with both DX and their delivery partner, M&H Logistics, regarding the handling of your delivery and the level of service you received.
With regard to compensation, while we do appreciate your disappointment, our Terms & Conditions explain that we are unable to offer compensation for delays caused by third-party couriers. This is the policy we applied in your case.

I ordered over a week ago
I ordered over a week ago, paid in full and my order has still failed to arrive it was due last Thursday and it still hasn’t arrived. Really disappointed, I have emailed and reached out to customer services in regards to this and not been allocated a refund and still awaiting my order.

Unfortunately, there was an unexpected delay with the courier after the driver ran out of their legal driving hours on 8th July, meaning your order was delivered on 9th July instead. No delivery 🚚🤔
Firstly I still don't have the furniture which should have been delivered 7/7/26. FedEx gave a tracking number so when I rang them they told me the supplier hadn't delivered so I needed to contact the Company. I was then told it was Fedex who had the problem.
Due to other commitments I will now be delivered to on 20/7/26. Fingers crossed that FedEx are in the same page.
